3. GIRLS WHO CODE:
Are you interested in computer programming? Do you
have time on Thursday afternoons? Our first Girls
Who Code Club meeting of the year will happen today
in Rm. A323 from 3-5 pm
Only 2 requirements: an interest in learning more
about computer science and programming and a
commitment to meet on Thursday afternoons. Open
to students in grades 9 – 12.

5. INTERNATIONAL CLUB:
International Club – Meeting on Monday,
Sept. 21, during lunch in Rm. A22. Light
snacks will be provided.
Please be sure to bring your $10 dues.
6. LEO CLUB INVITE:
Want to be a buddy for the day? Enjoy working
with kids? Join the Leo Club at the Young
Athletes Program on Saturday, Sept. 26th, 8:30am-
Noon at Kaiser High School.
This program is sponsored by Special Olympics
Hawaii working with children with disabilities.

7. SENIORS:
Those who plan to take the Oct. 24th ACT, the
registration deadline is TOMORROW.

8. ACT PREP CLASS:
ACT Prep class: This 4-week class starts
Monday, Sept. 28. Registrations are still being
taken. No classes during Fall break.
See Mr. Fong to sign up for either class.
9. COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Are you a musical student who can play piano or
strings? Hospice Hawaii is looking for musicians to
play background music during a memorial lantern
making event on Oct.17th.
Community service hours will be given.

10. ST. LOUIS HOMECOMING:
Grades 8-12, please check with your division
advisor to see where the homecoming candidates’
biography sheets are posted.
Voting will be done on Edline during homeroom
tomorrow.
11. CLUB MED:
Volunteers are needed for Handicapped Bowling on
Saturday, 9/19, 10:30am-12:30pm, at Ft. Shafter Bowl.
Paperwork must be in order to get on base.
All members are expected to volunteer at least once
during the school year. Other students are welcome to
volunteer for community service hours.
Please see Mrs. Sutter (Rm. A320) or Ms. Flynn (Rm.
A105) by tomorrow if you can help.
12. YWCA AFTER SCHOOL :
The YMCA is looking for part time help, either paid or
volunteer positions with activities that include: basic
STEM, cooking and nutrition, sports and literacy. The
program which is at Ali`iolani Elementary, starts after
school until 5:30pm.
Must be at least 16 years old and have consistent
availability. See either, Mrs. Normand, Ms. Miyahira, or
Mr. Fong for details. Good way to earn money or service
hours.
