3. FALL BREAK COLLEGE TOUR:
Sacred Hearts Academy and St. Louis School will co-
sponsor this tour of colleges in the Los Angeles and
San Diego area. In all, 10 colleges will be visited and
they include: University of Southern California, UCLA,
Santa Monica College, University of San Diego, San
Diego State University, Pt. Loma Nazarene University,
Chapman University, Whittier College, Cal Poly State
University, and Loyola Marymount University. Included
in the tour will be a visit to
Disneyland, touring the neighborhoods near the
colleges, and going to outlet shopping malls.
4. CLUB MED:
We need volunteers for Handicapped Bowling on
Saturday, May 20 th , 10:30am to12:30pm, at Ft.
Shafter Bowl. All paperwork must be in order to get
on base. Community service hours will be given.
Please let Mrs. Sutter (Room A320) or Ms. Flynn
(Room A105) know if you can help out by Thursday,
May 19 th . We realize that Saturday is after the last
day of the school year, but we are committed to our
people through the month of May. Also, since this is

5. COMMUNITY SERVICE:
Need service hours for next year in a safe and fun
setting? Volunteers are needed on Saturday, June
25 th , for the 4 th Annual Hire Leeward Job &
Career Fair at the University of Hawaii West Oahu
campus in Kapolei. Lunch and transportation will be
provided. See Mr. Fong for more information and/or
to sign up.
6. CERAMIC STUDENTS:
Former ceramic students please pick up your
ceramic pieces from Mrs. Baltunado’s room (A113)
during lunch. All ceramic pieces not claimed by
today, will be donated.
7. LOST AND FOUND:
If you have lost anything on campus, this will be the
last week for you to check and see if any of your
items might be here in the HS Office. There are
items ranging from, school uniforms to water bottles,
flasks, lunch bags, textbooks, pencil cases, non-
school clothing, etc. Confiscated jackets & sweaters
– Students whose jackets were confiscated during
the year, please see Mrs. Neves or Mr. Pires during
final exams week to retrieve.
