3. JR. HIGH ART REPS:
 Please meet during recess today in Room A300 to
plan out October’s bulletin board.

4. LEO CLUB INVITE:
 Want to be a buddy for the day? Enjoy working
with kids? Join the Leo Club at the Young
Athletes Program on Saturday, Sept. 26th, 8:30am-
Noon at Kaiser High School.
 This program is sponsored by Special Olympics
Hawaii working with children with disabilities.
 For more info, see Ms. Miyahira in Rm. A314.

5. LEO CLUB INVITE:
 If you are joining the club for the first time, come to our
new members meeting today during lunch in Room A314.
For returning members, there is no meeting, but come
tomorrow at the end of lunch to drop off the YAP or
Graffiti clean-up permission slips, membership forms, and
dues.
 Also, please turn in your September school supply
donations.

6. LEO CLUB:
 Members, please be sure your parents RSVP by
tomorrow for our Leo Club Parent Night on Monday,
Sept. 28, at 5:00pm.
 Also, remember to turn in your $5 dues, membership
form and permission slip for YAP or graffiti clean-up on
Saturday, Sept. 26. Those attending these events must
also pick up their Leo Club shirt for $10.

7. COLLEGE VISITS:
 Evergreen State College (WA)
 University of Hawaii
 Oregon State University
 University of Puget Sound (WA)
 Reed College (OR)
Check Family Connection for many other college visits. Two
day notice is required. Get permission form on Family
Connection’s main page under “library documents”. See
Mr. Fong if you have any questions.

8. ACT PREP CLASS:
 ACT Prep class: This 4-week class starts
Monday, Sept. 28. Registrations are still being
taken. No classes during Fall break.
 See Mr. Fong to sign up for either class.

9. COMMUNITY SERVICE:
 Are you a musical student who can play piano or
strings? Hospice Hawaii is looking for musicians to
play background music during a memorial lantern
making event on Oct.17th.
 Community service hours will be given.
 See Mrs. Normand for details.

10. YWCA AFTER SCHOOL :
 The YMCA is looking for part time help, either paid or
volunteer positions with activities that include: basic
STEM, cooking and nutrition, sports and literacy. The
program which is at Ali`iolani Elementary, starts after
school until 5:30pm.
 Must be at least 16 years old and have consistent
availability. See either, Mrs. Normand, Ms. Miyahira, or
Mr. Fong for details. Good way to earn money or service
hours.

11. LOST & FOUND:
 Please come by the HS Office if you have lost any item
on campus. All items left unclaimed by the end of the
week will be donated.
 We have several lunch bags, water bottles, hydro flasks,
text & notebooks, uniform & non-uniform articles of
clothing, and pairs of prescription glasses.
