Uzhhorod
It is the regional center and the largest city of Transcarpathia.
The first mention of this eternally border town on the river Uzh.
Uzhgorod is interesting for its unique atmosphere. After all, it
was considered part of Czechoslovakia, until now - Hungary,
and later - the Soviet Union. This gave the city an unusual mix
of traditions and cultures.
• The Pedestrian connects two embankments. This part of
the city is especially popular with couples in love who come
here on dates. And since 2010, mini-sculptures have
settled on the bridge. They will make you a wonderful

• Uzhhorod Castle was built in the Middle Ages by the
magnates, then rebuilt several times, now opened as a
museum of local lore. The fortress is located in the heart of

Beregovo.
The capital of Hungarian Ukraine - "Beregsas" is

Mukachevo Castle is a unique example of medieval

Mukachevo has found its place in the central square

Christian religion in different regions of Ukraine.

Verkhovyna
The geographical center of the Hutsul region, located on the
banks of the famous Black Cheremosh River, in addition to the
picturesque Carpathian panoramas has many other attractions

• The House-Museum of the film "Shadows of Forgotten
Ancestors" is a museum dedicated to the history of
shooting the film "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors",

the filming of the masterpiece "Shadows of Forgotten
Ancestors". The house is located in the village of
Zhabievsky Potok on the outskirts of Verkhovyna.

Kryvorivnya
It was here that Kotsyubynsky wrote the novel "Shadows
of Forgotten Ancestors", and half a century later made his
famous film of the same name Sergei Parajanov.

Ivan Franko used during his Carpathian voyages.

Bukovel
Bukovel is a ski resort in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, which has no
equal in Ukraine in terms of infrastructure, number of lifts and
quality of slopes. The resort is located near the village of
Polyanytsya at an altitude of 850 meters above sea level. Here you
can take the cable car to the top of Mount Bukovel, which offers a
magnificent panorama of Gorgan and the Montenegrin ridge.

way of life of the inhabitants of the Ukrainian Carpathians:
