2. The Problem
Once I started editing I realized
that the filler shots I had
weren’t enough and that they
weren’t varied
3. Why it needs to be fixed
The majority of the filler shots were of groups
of people walking on high streets shopping.
It was becoming very repetitive as I needed
these filler shots for the opening sequence,
the voice over's and for when the questions
were being asked.
So that the viewers didn’t lose interest or see
it as being repetitive I needed to fix this
problem.
4. How I Overcame It
So that this problem didn’t arise I went out and
filmed lots of different shots. Like shop
names, the clothes, accessories, people
shopping, shopping bags etc.
Not only did this solve the problem but it
allowed me to become more creative with
the shots that I used. For example I used the
focus on the lens when filming certain things
to go in and out of focus to very up the
shots. I did this with the zoom as well. Not
only this but I moved the camera when
filming things as well to also very up the
shots.
