Role:                      SEM & Facebook Assistant

Summary of role

Due to increasing growth and expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the SEM team. You
will work with leading brands and learn from some of the best Search talent in Australia. If you are passionate
about search and motivated to succeed, you will fit in well within our team.

This position will focus on the fulfilment of Search Engine Marketing (paid search) services for our clients,
assisting our SEM Managers in driving MediaCom’s SEM client’s strategies forward.

In this role you will have a range of duties including developing search campaign proposals, search
implementation and optimisation and coordinating with various MediaCom departments to ensure our clients
search strategies are market leading and deliver tangible business results for our clients.

The Search team and specifically a SEM Assistant is also responsible for managing and optimising Facebook
pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to drive growth in fans of our clients.

Our people first approach will ensure your always learning and you will be provided on the job training as well
internal and external training to ensure you succeed in your role and continue to advance within the company.

Prad Ray – Snr. SEM Manager

Overall Responsibilities

       Provide support for your SEM Manager
       Keyword research, account structure and ad copy development
       Ongoing campaign development and optimisation
       Applying innovative and advanced strategies to improve ROI
       Work with SEO managers to leverage SEO learnings
       Regular client reporting
       Monthly client invoicing

Where appropriate develop and present strategies to your line manager

       Present relevant documentation, where required, with full rationale for results.
       Attend media presentations (when required) and respond to issues raised therein.
       Maintain regular dialogue on campaign performance and market opportunities to ensure continual
        management of providing the best results for the brand.

SEM & Facebook Champion

       Provide on-going market updates/changes to the rest of the team.
       Monitor industry press relating to your area and feedback into the group.

Comprehensive training is provided, however you will require:

       Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
       An excellent work ethic, problem solving and proficient time management skills
       Work hard, be able to manage deadlines and pressure situations (but also know when to stop & enjoy
        the great social life at MediaCom)
       To follow instructions, be organised and work autonomously
       Have a passion for learning
       Work effectively in a team environment
       Intermediate MS Office skills
One or more of these qualifications will be highly favourable, but not essential:

        A degree ideally in marketing of ecommerce
        Google Advertising Professional (GAP) qualification
        Customer service qualification or experience

        Over and above the specifics of the job description push for responsibility, self-improvement and the
         opportunity to contribute to the company.

        Communicate with and update your Manager on a regular basis.
        Communicate with and update your clients on a regular basis i.e. on a weekly basis minimum.
        Develop interface with colleagues in all departments both media and beyond.
        Form strong relationships with buying and account teams at all levels.
        Be an effective presenter. Have well-developed written and verbal skills.
        Be aware of own progress and self-development.

Organisation and Productivity

        Manage own time and workload effectively.
        Take full responsibility for administration – status reports, contact reports, minutes, agendas, distribution
         of competitive information to team
        Be accountable for productivity and meeting deadlines.
        Initiate actions from client meetings.

Developing and Maintaining Relationships

        Have internal contact at appropriate levels of seniority, and gain the trust and respect of those
         individuals.
        Build and maintain strong relationships with the wider team on the businesses work on.
        Manage upward within the company.

Analytical Judgment

        Demonstrate a significant level of initiative and resourcefulness,
        Reappraise what has been asked for, thinking creatively and innovatively.
        Draw insights, from research or information generated, that’s useful to clients in the planning process

Company: MediaCom Department: MediaCom Search Role: SEM & Facebook Assistant Summary of role Due to increasing growth and expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the SEM team. You will work with leading brands and learn from some of the best Search talent in Australia. If you are passionate about search and motivated to succeed, you will fit in well within our team. This position will focus on the fulfilment of Search Engine Marketing (paid search) services for our clients, assisting our SEM Managers in driving MediaCom’s SEM client’s strategies forward. In this role you will have a range of duties including developing search campaign proposals, search implementation and optimisation and coordinating with various MediaCom departments to ensure our clients search strategies are market leading and deliver tangible business results for our clients. The Search team and specifically a SEM Assistant is also responsible for managing and optimising Facebook pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to drive growth in fans of our clients. Our people first approach will ensure your always learning and you will be provided on the job training as well internal and external training to ensure you succeed in your role and continue to advance within the company. Direct Reports: Nil Reports to: Prad Ray – Snr. SEM Manager Overall Responsibilities  Provide support for your SEM Manager  Keyword research, account structure and ad copy development  Ongoing campaign development and optimisation  Applying innovative and advanced strategies to improve ROI  Work with SEO managers to leverage SEO learnings  Regular client reporting  Monthly client invoicing Where appropriate develop and present strategies to your line manager  Present relevant documentation, where required, with full rationale for results.  Attend media presentations (when required) and respond to issues raised therein.  Maintain regular dialogue on campaign performance and market opportunities to ensure continual management of providing the best results for the brand. SEM & Facebook Champion  Provide on-going market updates/changes to the rest of the team.  Monitor industry press relating to your area and feedback into the group. Performance Measurement Specific Skills Related To Job Role Comprehensive training is provided, however you will require:  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills  An excellent work ethic, problem solving and proficient time management skills  Work hard, be able to manage deadlines and pressure situations (but also know when to stop & enjoy the great social life at MediaCom)  To follow instructions, be organised and work autonomously  Have a passion for learning  Work effectively in a team environment  Intermediate MS Office skills

Developing and Maintaining Relationships  Have internal contact at appropriate levels of seniority, and gain the trust and respect of those individuals.  Build and maintain strong relationships with the wider team on the businesses work on.  Manage upward within the company.
