- Integrating Pop Culture in the Classroom is like integrating any cooperative learning. It shifts the classroom dynamic away from the teacher causing disequalibrium for those used to maintaining complete control. The volume is going to rise, kids aren’t necessarily going to stay seated and refocusing group attention can be challenging. But if you prepare in advance, its easy to get into the spirit of things.
