Provide open ended creative experiences such as the junk yard to create

Assign classroom duties to students such as paper passer, trash monitor, line
leader, etc. Ensure that ALL children have a responsibility.
Have a materials center for extra paper, scissors, pencils, glue and tape that
allows children to get materials without having to ask for adult assistance.
