2. Previously before completing this presentation, I created a rough sketch of how
I want my digipak to be laid out and how my artist will be positioned within the
frame. My artist will be posing in a certain way rather than a typical pop album
front cover with the artist looking directly to the camera at a close up. The
reason for this idea is to ensure that my album is different from other albums
so that it’s not generic. The pose also connotes the idea of the artist Kamila as it
demonstrates her confidence and sexiness. The album cover also shows
continuity to the music video as they're similar scenes to what I want to
produce. This ensures my audience that they know that both album cover and
music video are related. All these aspects would appeal to my target audience
of 12-25 female audiences. To create my digipack, I will be using Photoshop to
position the text onto the cover, enhance the image etc.

4. Another idea that I must consider is the font I will be using. I plan to have a
mature bold font within my digipack as swirly type font would reduce the
overall quality of the CD album. It would also target a younger audience as
those types of fonts appeal to them. I would not include any background
within the text but the image as placing text against a specific background
might take up space. This would make the overall album appear overall busy.
I will create a mood board of font types that I want to incorporate within the
album so that it shows a clear understanding of what I want to achieve. The
font will also fit with the style of the album as my artist represents
confidence.
