THROUGHOUT LIFE
PRESENTATION
Kelly Ford

DIMENSIONS OF
WELLNESS
PHYSICAL WELLNESS
•   After learning exercise and a healthy diet are key to maintaining physical
    wellness, I have two things I hope to work on. To improve and maintain
    physical wellness I will continue regularly exercising throughout each
    week. I will also try to reduce my consumption of diet-soda and alcoholic
    beverages.
INTELLECTUAL WELLNESS
To build on what we learned in class in order
to maintain and achieve intellectual wellness I
will regularly read current events on CNN and
continuing reading novels that interest me.
EMOTIONAL WELLNESS

In order to maintain emotional
wellness I will allow myself at
least 20 minutes everyday to
reflect on how I am feeling in
regards to certain situations
going on in my life both positive
and negative. I will also regularly
exercise to reduce my stress as
learned in class.
SOCIAL WELLNESS
In order to maintain social wellness throughout my life I will continue to
dedicate a certain amount of time each week to hanging out with my friends.
I will also look into volunteering at a local shelter close to campus to give
back to the community and strengthen the bond throughout volunteers and
people in need of their services.
SPIRITUAL WELLNESS
     As a social work major I feel I excel in maintaining and improving
     spiritual wellness. I will continue to be empathetic and open to
     others beliefs, ideas, and life experiences.
     I will also spend more time reflecting upon my feelings towards
     my own life beliefs, ideas, and life experiences to be more in tune
     with myself and the world around me
OCCUPATIONAL WELLNESS
I will continue to go down a career path
that is focused on helping others,
improving other’s physical, mental, and
emotional health, and bettering people’s
outlook on their lives. I am looking
forward to finishing my social work
degree and then looking towards
completing an accelerated BSN program
for my RN in nursing.

  • 3. PHYSICAL WELLNESS • After learning exercise and a healthy diet are key to maintaining physical wellness, I have two things I hope to work on.
