is the name if the magazine as this lets the reader know what magazine
they are reading from.
3. Images
The images on a contents page take up the majority of space as images
are more appealing to a reader than writing. It makes the page have a
more visual aesthetic and the size of the images are different based on
how relevant the artist/band is at the moment. There is usually a
colour scheme to the images as to much colour could make the page
look too much.

features and regulars. The features column includes articles that don’t appear in
the magazine every week/month such as interviews and band articles. The
regulars are articles that are in the magazine every time it comes out, such as
competitions and music events, and the images go in another column. The
columns are used to make it easier for readers to find what they want to read
and can easily turn to the page its on.
6. Issue date
The issue date is found near the title and is written in a larger font than the
article names so that it is noticeable. This is so that the reader can keep track of
what issue they are reading or when it is from.
