2. I decided to do my magazine last due to personal preference. Originally, I wanted my
main article artist on my front cover to sell her story as I feel my audience would take
a liking to her. However, when re evaluating my magazine and looking at my images I
thought the image I have chosen will work better because it’s a high quality photo.
Also, I feel the background alongside the mise en scene: clothing makes my genre
more prominent.
Front Cover
3. As you can see it took me a lot of attempts to try to lay out my
contents page in a way that I like/ my target audience would
like. I think my images will be the section which will sell my
magazine the most as I feel my audience appeal to images
rather than text. I also wanted to in cooperate a range of
articles inside my magazine to reinforce that my magazine is
jam packed with exclusive interviews. In addition, I have kept
an continuous colour scheme in order to make my magazine
easy to read, as well as using a clear san serif font.

4. Article
I took inspiration for my article from a rock magazine. I’m
aware this isn’t my music genre and therefore I had to
adapt the idea slightly. I feel this works as a good
introduction page because again I feel the images are an
aspect my target audience are going to appeal to. I
included a pull quote to separate the writing slightly in
order to make my article easier to read but I think it
makes my magazine look more professional. .
