4. Introduction :
We all come across many
system, without system, no
activity will complete . Take
example of human being .
When body has to work
effectively and efficiently the
body system means every part
of it i.e., eyes ,nose
,respectively ect,of human
being should work completely .
5. Concept of system
To understand what meant by a
system .For this we will take example of
bicycle .What are the different parts s
Bicycle ? The Break, handle , chain
paddle etc. All these parts are essential
for the bicycle to work properly hence
these are called components of the
bicycle .
Suppose the break is not working the
bicycle will not work. It affects the
functioning of all other components
.this shown that components are inter
related and inter dependent operating
towards the effective functioning of a
bicycle
6. “A system has a number of components
operating together in an interrelated and
interdependent manner towards the attainment of
certain function”.
Bertalanffy (1951 ):
System as a “arrangement or combination
of parts or elements in a whole”
Ackoff (1971 ):
“ System is a set of interacted elements”
7. DEFINITION OF SYSTEM APPROACH
Chaechman 1968: “define system
approach as a procedure for
characterizing the nature of the system
,so that decision making might be
logical and coherent fashion, and
performance of a system might be
described
Bertalanffy 1968 : Who elaborated the
concept to say that “ system approach
involved a consideration of alternative
solutions and of choosing those
promising optimization at maximum
efficiency and minimum cost in a
complexnetwork of interaction
8. TYPE OF SYSTEM
1) Natural System
2) Artificial System
a. Open System
b.Closed System

process
1. Formulation of objectives
2. Pre- assessment of students entering
behavior
3. Designing and development of the
system
4. Operation or implementation of phase
5. Evaluation of outcome
6. Improvement of the system
17. Flow Diagram
“Flow Charts can be defined as a diagrammatic
representation of a sequence of operation of the
logic that determines the sequence ”

23. Meaning :
The first hand direct experience
prove most useful and effective in the process of
teaching and learning .However it is not always
possible to arrange for such direct experience
with the help of suitable Audio –Visual Aids
,material and equipments.
The education meant to provide sufficient
knowledge and skill to an individual in the use of
relevant material and equipments helpful in
providing best possible real experience through
one’s senses of sight and hearing is termed as
Audio – Visual Education.
Audio Visual Aids
24. Biswas - defines Audio Visual aids as “ any
device, to supplement regular instruction or stimulate
the learning process through sense of hearing like
natural sound, public address phonograph ,recording
,Radio programmers ,and visual ; any device to
supplement regular instruction or to stimulate learning
process through the source of sight like pictures ,
photographs ,models ,slides and motion picture ”.
Burton - “ Audio-Visual materials are those
sensory objects or images which initiate, stimulate and
reinfore learning ”.
