• Heat load in (1) = Cp deltaT = (180-70) * 20 = 2200 KW
• Heat needed in (3) = (120-60) * 36 = 2160 KW
• Stream (3) will be supplied with the needed energy and stream 1 will have 40KW

• 2160 = 20 * (T-70) T= 178 C

• Heat needed in (4) = (100-60) * 80 = 3200 KW
• Stream 2 heat load will be depleted, to know the temperature of the output of
stream 4:
• 2400 = 80 (T-60) T= 90 C
