2. Titles
In teen dramas the typical text tends to be in all capitals as it draws attention to the film poster.
As seen on the previous slide is clear that the colours used tend to very bright and those that
would bring attention.
The titles and graphics which are used in films marketing campaigns can have an influential and
important effect.
There is a variety of prints which are used and this is because of the variety of plots in teen
drama films, so it's suited to it's purpose, also because the different font shapes can hint at
different interpretations and represent the narrative/genre of the film.
3. Ideas
For our teaser trailer we wanted to incorporate a design in relation
to the 'Suffragettes' title. We thought this through as we thought it
was bold, and it stood out. The font was different and had a sense
of 'tough' or 'strong' and so this represented our characters quite
well too. However after doing more research, in teen films this
font wouldn’t typically be used and so this wouldn’t be a very good
representation of our film. It is also something that may be used
for a specific film, like Suffragette, even though our film does
tackle some real issues, it doesn’t associate with the teen drama we
are going for with the genre.

5. After doing some more research into the fonts that would apply to our film
specifically, baring in mind the genre and the narrative we were considering.
After searching on the dafont.com website we were looking at pages upon
pages. So we decided to use the search box, and we typed in ‘teen’ in which we
found the font which was also named ‘teen’. We though it was perfect for the
film as it was bold, and yet it was still youthful which tied into our genre.
