2. At the beginning of class, I took a survey which
showed the scores for my learning preference. I found
that my score for reflective is 3, sensual is 5, visual is 1
and global is 1. At the end of class, I believe that my
scores for sensual and reflective are true; although, the
scores for visual and global should have been much
higher. During lecture, I would use my learning
strategies to see if the scores were true or not in which
it reflected upon me throughout the semester.
Knowing about my learning preference does make a
difference in my personal learning success because I
am able to understand what I need to focus on during
lectures or when working with others.

3. At the beginning of class, the learning preference
that I chose was learning warrior because I get a
deeper knowledge of mobile technologies through
this way. Since I work better individually than in
groups, I can use my learning preference in order
to help me become a stronger learner. When I want
to learn about something, I want to get deep into
the topic and learn about every little fact that it
contains. I don’t believe that I changed my
learning preference because I still work better
individually and I want to learn every single detail
about a topic that I am interested in.

4. The specific activity that helped me get a broader
understanding of how to use a mobile technology to
learn was the iPod and MP3 activity because I was able
to learn the different uses and functions of an iPod and
MP3 which I did not know before. The specific activity
that helped me get a deeper understanding of how to
use a mobile technology to learn was iPads because I
was able to understand more on how they function and
what I can do to incorporate it into my learning
preferences. The specific activity that worked best for
learning with others to use mobile technologies was
Microblogs because I am able to understand how I can
network with others around the world.

5. I used iPods/MP3 players and explored it for my own
learning by using them for school work and other personal
uses. For example, I used my iPod to take notes during
lectures and use the web browsing app if I needed to look
something up for class. This mobile technology
accommodates my learning preferences such as visual
because as a visual learner, I need to see something in front
of me in order to help me understand better. For visual
learners, using an iPod/MP3 is useful for those who needs
to look at a screen rather than trying to listen through the
headphones. As a global learner, I need an overall view in
which using an iPod can give me that by seeing what to
expect from a certain topic. For reflective and sensual
learners, using the iPod can help with memorization and
look back at past informations.
Julie Yi
6. For iPads/tablets, I used the iPad in order to help
me with looking up information during lectures in
case there is a topic which I am not familiar with.
This mobile technology accommodates with my
visual and global learning preferences because I
was able to look at the screen on the iPad and get a
bigger picture on a certain topic or information.
The iPad is also good for sensual and reflective
learners who wants that extra memorization or
memorize the important ideas. The iPad is useful
in many ways when looking up any information at
a fast pace.

7. I used microblogs as a learning experience to connect
with others who are not near me. I was able to ask
classmates on social sites such as Facebook or Twitter
regarding lecture notes. Microblogs helped
accommodate my visual and global learning preference
the most because I was able to look at the social site
and see what information my classmates may have
sent to me as well as look back at my notes and make a
connection. Microblogs is also a good way to connect
with anyone who may relate to questions that you may
have which is great for sensual and global learners so
that they can get a big picture on what they need.
Julie Yi
8. The mobile technology that interested me the most as
learning tools was Microblogs because I never would have
come across that microblogs would be considered a learning
tool. The mobile technology that surprised me the most as
learning tools was iPods/MP3 because at the beginning, I
did not understand how iPods and MP3s would be
considered as a learning tool and how I could use them as a
learning tool. All mobile technologies seems to work as
learning tools in their own unique way if used correctly and
so, I would not be able to choose a mobile technology that
does not seem to work as a learning tool. I would want to
explore microblogs further to improve my learning because
I spend most of my time on social networks and so I want to
learn how I can include them into my learning preferences.
Julie Yi
9. The mobile technology that worked best for my
learning preferences was the iPad because I was able to
use the technology frequently in order to incorporate it
into my studies during lecture and help me prepare for
tests and quizzes. I would use the notes apps during
lecture and jot down any notes that the professor
writes or says and if I needed any other additional
information on something I did not understand, I
would go to the web browser and look up the term.
The iPad was a great source of technology for someone
who is a visual learner because I am able to see the
notes and recognize what I need to focus more on and
what I already know.
Julie Yi
10. The mobile learning strategy that I will continue
using after this class is visual because I use my
sight very often when trying to remember or learn
something and so visual is more of a everyday
purpose tool for me than a learning strategy.
Visual can be used when learning at a job or
outside of school by looking at things and trying to
memorize them in your head so that when time
comes around to the point where you need to
remember it, then you can visualize what it was
and use them. I will also use visual for everyday
purposes.
Julie Yi
11. I will continue using microblogs as a mobile learning
strategy after this class because I want to be able to
network with other people around the world and see
what is happening in other countries. Microblogs will
be useful when learning at a job or outside of school by
connecting with business partners or colleagues from
different areas to get work done more efficiently. The
mobile technology that I will continue using for non-
learning purposes is the iPad because I take it
wherever I go for entertainment purposes. The mobile
technology that I will avoid using after this class is the
iPod because I do not use them very often because the
iPad is more useful due to the bigger screen.
