1. Barber Shop
The store is very friendly. They got TV’s all over tuned into sports. They also got a pool table in the back.
If people want to relax they got a sound system where the customers can choose from hundreds of CDs.
If there are kids they got a PS3 and Xbox with a lot of games. When you walk in you are greeted by
everyone. There are nice paintings outside the store that draw you in. This place makes men feel very
comfortable and that you are among friends.
IN-N-OUT
This place has two drive thru’s to get the cars moving fast. On top of that there are friendly workers
taking your orders with electronic pads before you even reach the window. The menu is very simple and
the smell travels for blocks. Also the place is very clean including the employees. The signs are eye
catching.
Joann’s Fabrics
As you walk in they have the Halloween merchandise is right front to draw attention to it. The staff is
not very friendly and they had long lines. Furthermore the staff looked very overwhelmed. The draw to
the store is their 40% coupons on all items. The front of the store had holiday décor like monsters and so
on. The staff gave the store a downer feeling and made me just want to leave.
Starter Bros
As soon as you walk in the candy is in the front. The best candy is at eye level. The cheaper candy was
towards the bottom and towards the end. They have a lot of décor for the holidays. The store had bright
colors. The staff was friendly but seemed a bit overwhelmed. The store was well lit and with wide aisles.
Ross
The store was very clean and well lit. There was enough staff and they smiled as you entered. There was
no holiday décor in the front though. There were toys right in front of the store which my three year old
was instantly drawn to. The store was bright with low gentle music playing in the back ground.
Vons
The aisle was wide and bright. The Oktoberfest beer was front and center where everyone could see.
This supermarket compared to Starter Bros was cleaner and better kept. There was more staff and they
were all very helpful. Also at check out they would hold conversations with the customers and made me
feel appreciated.
