6. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
Lack of equipment
(Camera, instruments, computers)
Book needed equipment beforehand, and make
sure batteries are charged and available and it is
all packed to be returned.
Lack of actors (band members)
to be used for the product
Find people willing to be used in the product and
allows photos of them to be used. Also have
backup actors in case there are problems with the
others.
Not finding the right place for a
photoshoot
Look for a few places before production period
starts. And also consider weather and check
forecasts for that day.
Final designs too complex to create Some ideas for designs in a plan may be more
difficult than anticipated and hard to produce. So I
may have to make some more simple and easier.
It is every easy to lose work on a computer
through software corrupting, losing a USB or
just forgetting to save.
Make sure to back up the work on my H-drive,
USB, cloud storage, etc. and remember to bring
USBs with me on ever working day.
Blurry images When uploading some images, they appear
blurry. To fix this I might have to save them in a
special way or in a different place on the
computer.
7. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Some equipment, such as speakers may
be heavy
We may have to move equipment, like
speakers, carefully so we don’t drop them and
hurt somebody
Trying to find photoshoot spots outside
of college
Make sure to be careful when outside college
grounds with hazards like roads, weather and
getting lost.
Wires With equipment like guitars, keyboards and
computers it is important to be careful of the
wires that come with them as they are a
tripping and electrical hazard.
After using a computer for a long time from
editing, it’s easy to get some sort of eye strain
from looking at the screen for too long.
Breaks every now and again might be needed
from the computer or really any screen, to stop
me from getting eye strain
Like eye strain, wrists craps can also be a
problem from overuse of a computer.
During breaks it could be important to let you
hands relax as well, to prevent carpal tunnel or
any other injury
Overheating computers It is also important to give the computer a
break as well as your eyes and wrists. So the
computer doesn’t overheat, save the work, log
off, and switch it of a bit.
