WhyThese Programs
Plato Program-The program is designed for
credit recovery and student inquiry led
instruction. The instructor sets up the course
and the course requirements from the master
computer.
The student is given the appropriate log in data
and begins. The instructor can monitor the
student’s screen and progress at any given time.
The student receives assessment grading each
time the student works on the program.
What are these programs and how
do they work.
Eduwizards-is an online tutoring program for
most any academic subject during the hours of
8am-9pm.
Smart thinking-is an online tutoring program for
most any academic subject during the hours of
8am-9pm.
Edu wizards
Successful oversight of the implementation and
functioning of the Smart thinking and Edu
wizards programs for all 4 campuses of
Minnesota State Technical and Community
Colleges to facilitate individualized tutoring for
more than 4,000 college students to include the
Wadena, Fergus Falls, Detroit Lakes, and
Moorhead campuses.
Result: More students are able to fit college
classes into their busy schedules and be
Smartthinking-Eduwizards
-Improved attendance in our program by 100%
from the year previous.
-Increased our graduation rates by 75%.
-Successfully provided Special Education
accommodations and modifications for 100% of
the learners enrolled.
-Had “0” behavioral problems in the duration of
this program’s inception.
Achievements
Through the implementation of the Plato
program:
-I was able to increase the school’s credit
recovery program by increasing our program
from 4 classes to offering 22 different courses.
Achievements

Todd County Schools/Verndale Schools

Increased Attendance Rates from 68% to 94% during the course of 1
school year.

Increased Basic Skills Scores from borderline passing rates to the
highest passing rankings of the 4 county area during 1 school year.

Indian Oasis Baboquivari Schools-

Grant writing, Successfully raised $8 million in state and federal aide for
educational programs to increase student achievement.

  • 10. Plato Program-The program is designed for credit recovery and student inquiry led instruction. The instructor sets up the course and the course requirements from the master computer. The student is given the appropriate log in data and begins. The instructor can monitor the student’s screen and progress at any given time. The student receives assessment grading each time the student works on the program. What are these programs and how do they work.
  • 11. Eduwizards-is an online tutoring program for most any academic subject during the hours of 8am-9pm. Smart thinking-is an online tutoring program for most any academic subject during the hours of 8am-9pm. Edu wizards
  • 12. Successful oversight of the implementation and functioning of the Smart thinking and Edu wizards programs for all 4 campuses of Minnesota State Technical and Community Colleges to facilitate individualized tutoring for more than 4,000 college students to include the Wadena, Fergus Falls, Detroit Lakes, and Moorhead campuses. Result: More students are able to fit college classes into their busy schedules and be Smartthinking-Eduwizards
  • 13. -Improved attendance in our program by 100% from the year previous. -Increased our graduation rates by 75%. -Successfully provided Special Education accommodations and modifications for 100% of the learners enrolled. -Had “0” behavioral problems in the duration of this program’s inception.   • 14. Through the implementation of the Plato program: -I was able to increase the school’s credit recovery program by increasing our program from 4 classes to offering 22 different courses. Achievements
  • 15.  Todd County Schools/Verndale Schools  Increased Attendance Rates from 68% to 94% during the course of 1 school year.  Increased Basic Skills Scores from borderline passing rates to the highest passing rankings of the 4 county area during 1 school year.  Indian Oasis Baboquivari Schools- • Grant writing, Successfully raised $8 million in state and federal aide for educational programs to increase student achievement. • Created successful intervention programs to increase student achievement.

(non-combat)  Received the Minnesota and Iowa State Service Award for Active duty service during Operation Noble Eagle.  Received the Foreign Services Award.  Received 2 Oak Leaf Cluster Awards for distinguished service during Operation Noble Eagle and Operation Desert Storm.  Received good Conduct Award Military Service
