Music magazine Evaluation

1. What have you learnt about technologies from the process of
constructing the product?
Constructing the product has made me use many different technologies, Prezi being one of
them it has helped me to do my evaluation question it’s a better and slicker way to present
work. Instead of just using the conventional ways, Prezi gives the evaluation of my product
an edge because it shows that I can use a slightly more complex technology but still make
quality presentation of my work.
Prezi is a better version of PowerPoint; it’s more advanced and its attention to detail that is
why I chose to use it. Prezi was the way forward if was going to make my evaluation look as
polished as possible. I have learnt valuable new skills and new ways to present my work
without using rudimentary technology.
Photoshop was the main technology that I used to construct my media product. I had to
learn how to use many tools. I used many tools to construct my media product, such as the
crop tool to make sure that my front cover page fit perfectly onto the page. I also used the
stroke tool to enhance the writing on my magazine so it didn’t fade into the background as
well.
Overall I learnt many important skills from constructing my own proper media product. I
have got a much better grasp of Photoshop now I have used it for an extended period of
time. It has definitely enhanced my Photoshopping skills; I know how to use Photoshop in all
aspects.

2. When evaluating my work one of the requirements was to use different technologies to
present my evaluation questions. Slideshare was another technology I used to present my
evaluation question. It’s another meticulous way in which to show work, I’ve gradually
overtime become better at using it.
Slideshare will aid me in another way in which to show my work, I have learnt how to use
another presentation site as well in the process. It did take time to figure out how to use
Slideshare properly but it was beneficial for the presentation of my work.
Survey monkey was another technology that I used and learnt from in the process of making
my media product. It was very difficult at first to use survey monkey, it took the most time
getting use to because I had simply never used it before. On the other hand, it turned out to
be a useful technology asset.
I used survey monkey to find important information for my media product, once I had a
grasp of how to use survey monkey it become very useful indeed. I tried to use it as
simplistically as possible because it’s a very complex technology for somebody using it for
the first time, but gradually I realised the technology of survey monkey was very simple.
Summary
Overall I found out that all the technologies I used was somewhat challenging at first, but
once I had clear grasp of how to use it and utilise it in the right way it become very simple. I
have definitely learnt many problem solving skills and multitasking challenging situations
with technology.
