Before I started making my products, I collected information via a questionnaire from the
target audience to give me initial ideas concerning the key aspects of what should be
included in a music video, digipak and magazine advert from the Acoustic genre.
The results are below..

After creating my music video, 5 members from the target audience between the ages of
15-30 watched my music video and supplied positive and negative feedback on what was
good and what could be improved. I decided to also ask for feedback from people who not
only like acoustic music but also like different genres also, for example R&B. I also asked for
feedback from the artist himself to understand how well he thought his performance was.

Personally, I think that the outcome of my music video was successful. The mis en scene in
the music video made it clear to the audience that it is a acoustic genre music video, which
is what I desired to achieve. The use of camera work used throughout the video (shot sizes
and angles) is an aspect which was also executed well and was also highlighted by the
target audience. I believe that the angles used were very creative, for example, the use of
low angle shots and Dutch tilts. However there are some aspects throughout the music
video which could be improved. The lip movement of the artist at some points during the
video are not synced with the music, which was also noticed by some from the target
audience. Also, I could have improved on quicker succession between the shots which
would have made the music video look cleaner. Overall I am pleased with the outcome of
the video.
