2. Audience feedback for our final music video:
From the audience feedback that we received after we had shown them the final
music video after it we had done editing it, their initial feedback with the performer
was positive. They added that she was suitable for the role as she goes for the
stereotypical look of a jazz/soul artist and her acting skills were good enough.
Our first ideas for the performer was using the actual singer of the song that we had
used but due to her busy schedule we had decided upon using her instead.
3. The audience had commented on
how the quality of the footage from
the street scenes were in much
better quality then the scenes at the
park. We had managed to correct
this in adobe premier by changing
the contrasting and brightness of
the picture.
The camerawork techniques we had
used in the video was likened
amongst the audience as they
commented on the continuity editing
and the fact that we had used actual
people from the streets to be part
of our video through medium shots
portrays the different real life
characters you would find on the streets.
4. The audience that had seen
the video were some classmates
and they had commented on the
green screen that we had used for
the performance scenes. They
complained that we had not done
an inadequate job in clearing all the
green properly and so we had
changed that afterwards to reduce
the green coming from the back
ground as much a possible.
We also had a response from a
YouTube viewer who wrote that it
was an overall excellent video but
the green screening had to make
some adjustments. We were able
to take up this criticism and corrected
the mistake that we had done.
5. Audience feedback towards our final ancillary products:
The feedback we received from the audience relating to the front cover and back
cover was that it amazed them as to how we were able to create a brand identity
amongst them with the actual music video. However they had commented upon
the magazine advertisement as they thought that the blue background did not seem
to fit the soul/jazz genre as the colour seemed to make the overall look appear
too overcrowded so we changed the colour to a more champagne one much like
the colour of the balloons on the front cover, yet again making this link to the other
ancillary products. In addition the colour appeared to them to be more simple, adding
to the conventional look of the soul/jazz genre. We had also rearranged some of the
writing and images that were used as it appeared to show too much content towards
the audience.
6. This was the review sheet that was given to some of the audience that had
seen the music video:
