Learners
Quarter 1
Name: 071519
Directions
This is your portfolio that you will show your parents and
explain to them what you have learned.
-In the orange column say where you are in your learning of
the targets.
-Add your evidence (1-2) per a content, and explain how this
shows your learning. If you have to add another slide that is
fine. if you need to take a picture and add that on, do it.
-If you have not mastered the learning targets, say what your
steps will be to master them or go beyond the targets.
-You can only change your theme to (Steps, Color Strips, or
Friendly) Once you change it you must not change it again.
DO not change the font or color of font.
Success Criteria
-Write clearly so the person reading will understand what you are talking about.
-Add good evidence that supports what you said you learned.
-You should have evidence that shows more than just 1 learning target.
Choose a good piece that shows a lot. (it can be pictures, a piece of work,
video, voice recording, test, etc.)
-Have only 1-2 pieces of evidence per a content (reading, math, etc.)
-Make sure to add comments with the evidence that helps the reader know
what it is showing.
-Nothing should have your name showing on it.
-Get feedback from peers or teachers.

estamating and add or subtracting with
the estamated number and do a multistep
word problem.
-I will practice reading and understanding
word problems and drawing a picture to
help me understand the problem. I will
make sure that I make sense of the
problem.
-I will practice rounding skills on line.
OA5:
-I can identify the number or
shape of a pattern.
i can a MP on this because i can look at a
pattern and identify the shape or number.

  • 2. Directions This is your portfolio that you will show your parents and explain to them what you have learned. -In the orange column say where you are in your learning of the targets. -Add your evidence (1-2) per a content, and explain how this shows your learning. If you have to add another slide that is fine. if you need to take a picture and add that on, do it. -If you have not mastered the learning targets, say what your steps will be to master them or go beyond the targets. -You can only change your theme to (Steps, Color Strips, or Friendly) Once you change it you must not change it again. DO not change the font or color of font.
  • 3. Success Criteria -Write clearly so the person reading will understand what you are talking about. -Add good evidence that supports what you said you learned. -You should have evidence that shows more than just 1 learning target. Choose a good piece that shows a lot. (it can be pictures, a piece of work, video, voice recording, test, etc.) -Have only 1-2 pieces of evidence per a content (reading, math, etc.) -Make sure to add comments with the evidence that helps the reader know what it is showing. -Nothing should have your name showing on it. -Get feedback from peers or teachers.
  • 4. Data Name: 071519 Test Started at Score (where they are) 4th grades should be BAS (Reading Assessment) T* T* P iReady Reading 551 568 557 Kidbiz Lexil level 745L 840L (+95L) CCR 740-940L iReady Math 500 504 478
  • 5. Math: Numbers and Operations Learning Targets (Where am I going?) Where am I? (what is your evidence?) How am I going to get there? NBT 2 -I can read and write multi-digit whole numbers using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form. I give myself a MP at this because i can turn the multi-digit number into base tens and i can do the different forms with a multi-digit number. i will keep practicing and doing my work and pay attendtion so i can master it NBT 3 -I can round multi-digit whole numbers to any place using place value. i give myself an MP because i can do this by rounding or estamating and getting a number that is in the millions or less and round it to the number it goes to and get it right and use a place value chart correctly. i can do this by keep learning and practice using it. NBT 4 -I can fluently add multi-digit whole numbers less than or equal to 1,000,000 using the standard algorithm. i give myself a MP because i can add whole numbers that are multi-digit numbers and less than or equal to 1,000,000 using the chart and the starigies i can do this by doing it more so that i get better
  • 6. Math: Operations and Algebraic Thinking Learning Targets (Where am I going?) Where am I? (What is your evidence?) How am I going to get there? OA3: -I can assess the reasonableness of an answer in solving a multi-step word problem using estimation strategies. i can do this and get a MP or DP by estamating and add or subtracting with the estamated number and do a multistep word problem. -I will practice reading and understanding word problems and drawing a picture to help me understand the problem. I will make sure that I make sense of the problem. -I will practice rounding skills on line. OA5: -I can identify the number or shape of a pattern. i can a MP on this because i can look at a pattern and identify the shape or number. i can ask for help -I can generate a number or shape pattern that follows a given rule. i give myself an MP because i can make a pattern by using a shape and make it using the given rule. -practice online or get a tutor.
  • 7. Math: Measurement & Data Learning Targets (Where am I going?) Where am I? (What is your evidence?) How am I going to get there? MD1 -I can compare different units within the same system of measurement (hours, minutes, seconds) -I know the relative size of measurement units (hrs, min, sec) i give myself a DP because i get stuck on the seconds sometimes but not the other things like the hours and minutes and but i get the size of the measurements for hours and minutes but sometimes i get stuck on seconds. i will get someone to help me and give me problems MD2 -I can solve word problems involving intervals of time. _I can solve word problems that require expressing measurements given in a larger unit in terms of a smaller unit. (hr, min, sec_ i give myself a DP because i can solve a problem like that and im really good at the hours and minutes but i get stuck on second when you have to convrent all the hours and minutes in to the seconds but im bad at seconds. i will get a tutor and he will help me do things that i am stuck on.
  • 8. Reading Learn Targets (Where am I going?) Where am I? (What is your evidence?) How am I going to get there? -I can read grade level text with good comprehension. (Oct -P) i give myself a MP because i can read good and im level T. i will read more -I can read with appropriate fluency. i can do this and get a DP because sometimes i cough when im reading and it messes up my voice. i will read more and point at the text -I can identify text structures (compare & contrast, cause & effect, problem & solution, sequence, main idea and details) i give myself a WB because i forgot what this is and don’t know if i got it right. i will try and improve on this by getting help -I can do close reading and use evidence from the text to compare two texts. i give my self a DP because sometimes i dont look back but sometimes i look back again if i dont know it. i will reread to help me understand the text -I can identify and interpret idioms. i give myself a DP because i dont know what interpret means but i know what idioms mean like its not what it is like its a piece of cake. i will try to get the hang of idoims by practicing -I can identify different genres. i give myself a MP because i know the diffrent genres and what it is. i practice more and read more
