The Future of ICT and the Computer
This activity will summarize the discussion of impact that ICT and the computers have played in
the different events in the evolution of computers.
Using the table below, enumerate the impact of the ICT and the computers in the way
you learn today. Furthermore, foresee changes and development of ICT and computers that will
happen from 2020 until 2025

EDUCATION
 ICT enables self-paced learning through
various tools such as assignment,
computer etc. as a result of this the
teaching learning enterprise has become
more productive and meaningful.
 ICT helps facilitate the transaction
between producers and users by keeping
the students updated and enhancing
teachers capacity and ability fostering a
live contact between the teacher and the
student through e-mail, chalk session, e-
learning, web-based learning including
internet, intranet, extranet, , TV audio-
video aids, CD-ROM.
 Edusat technology has become very
powerful media for interactive
participation of experts and learners and
it reaches the unreachable.
 Emerging learning Technology (ELT) of
bogging, Integrated Learning Â
Modules, a pod cast, Wikis,
Enhancement of Browsers, e-learning,
M-learning, U-learning have started
INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS
 Technology will be integrated in the
teaching learning process. More
advance technologies will be invented,
like a wireless LCD projector. That can
be accessed through hand gestures and
maybe voice commands.
 Laptops will be lighter than the
previous ones and will have touch
screens features. And maybe it will be
retractable to its own keyboard and can
be carried while connected through a
wireless LCD projector.
 There will be designated laptops for
each students that will be used in every
lessons. I wish it could be a Mac.
 Virtual reality may be integrated in
schools.
INTERNET
 The internet will become more reliable
and accurate in giving information for
the students.
making rapid strides in teaching learning
processes.
CURRICULUM
 Traditional ,closed curriculum
 Based on fixed content which students
are required to learn and reproduce.
 Focuses on the skills needed to build
and communicate knowledge.
 Goal oriented curricula and syllabuses
can be changed according to learner’s
needs.
TEACHERS
Teacher access to :
 Lesson plans
 Network of teachers
 Pedagogical techniques
 Information resources
EVALUATION
 Student accept more responsibility for
their own learning and its assessment,
developing expertise in the process.
 Teacher application of curriculum can
be monitored by analyzing test results.
This can be used by teachers for
assessing and improving their own
performance meeting state and
national standards.
 There will be more free published
academic books in the internet for
student’s resources in their researches.
 The internet in the Philippines will be
improved and will become faster which
will be easier for a student to access the
internet even in a remote area.
SCHOOLS
 There will be more online schools that
will offer e-education. I think virtual
reality will be required in order to
simulate evaluations of the students.
 Schools will have high security using
advance technologies for a conducive
learning environment.
 Students will logged in using their IDs
in schools advanced logging in gates,
in order for the school and the parents
monitor the students.

ASSESS Name: Tan, Julius Peter Date: June 30, 2017 The Future of ICT and the Computer This activity will summarize the discussion of impact that ICT and the computers have played in the different events in the evolution of computers. Using the table below, enumerate the impact of the ICT and the computers in the way you learn today. Furthermore, foresee changes and development of ICT and computers that will happen from 2020 until 2025 Share to the class the output of your work. Impact of ICT and Computers Projected Impact of Computers to Education come 2020-2015 (indicate changes, technologies that will be introduced, etc.) EDUCATION  ICT enables self-paced learning through various tools such as assignment, computer etc. as a result of this the teaching learning enterprise has become more productive and meaningful.  ICT helps facilitate the transaction between producers and users by keeping the students updated and enhancing teachers capacity and ability fostering a live contact between the teacher and the student through e-mail, chalk session, e- learning, web-based learning including internet, intranet, extranet, , TV audio- video aids, CD-ROM.  Edusat technology has become very powerful media for interactive participation of experts and learners and it reaches the unreachable.  Emerging learning Technology (ELT) of bogging, Integrated Learning  Modules, a pod cast, Wikis, Enhancement of Browsers, e-learning, M-learning, U-learning have started INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS  Technology will be integrated in the teaching learning process. More advance technologies will be invented, like a wireless LCD projector. That can be accessed through hand gestures and maybe voice commands.  Laptops will be lighter than the previous ones and will have touch screens features. And maybe it will be retractable to its own keyboard and can be carried while connected through a wireless LCD projector.  There will be designated laptops for each students that will be used in every lessons. I wish it could be a Mac.  Virtual reality may be integrated in schools. INTERNET  The internet will become more reliable and accurate in giving information for the students.
  • 2. making rapid strides in teaching learning processes. CURRICULUM  Traditional ,closed curriculum  Based on fixed content which students are required to learn and reproduce.  Focuses on the skills needed to build and communicate knowledge.  Goal oriented curricula and syllabuses can be changed according to learner’s needs. TEACHERS Teacher access to :  Lesson plans  Network of teachers  Pedagogical techniques  Information resources EVALUATION  Student accept more responsibility for their own learning and its assessment, developing expertise in the process.  Teacher application of curriculum can be monitored by analyzing test results. This can be used by teachers for assessing and improving their own performance meeting state and national standards.  There will be more free published academic books in the internet for student’s resources in their researches.  The internet in the Philippines will be improved and will become faster which will be easier for a student to access the internet even in a remote area. SCHOOLS  There will be more online schools that will offer e-education. I think virtual reality will be required in order to simulate evaluations of the students.  Schools will have high security using advance technologies for a conducive learning environment.  Students will logged in using their IDs in schools advanced logging in gates, in order for the school and the parents monitor the students.
