Title-unsigned
Positioning statement-By the fans, for the fans
Frequency of publication- monthly
Price-£2.70
Distribution- Supermarkets, newsagents, websites, subscriptions, available digitally via newsstand
on iphones/ipadsetc and music shops
Rationale- This music magazine is about indie music. We will offer opinions, reviews, insights and
interviews. It’s going to be an original magazine, although it will follow the usual format for music
magazines. It’s going to feature a free download with every issue, reviews of each month’s albums.
It’s going to feature one well known artist each month on each cover of the issue. As well as having
other upcoming artists/band reviews as well as well known bands/artists, the music magazine will
also contain a quiz, reviews and interviews. The aim of this magazine is to compete against other
indie magazines such as NME, Q, Mojo and Uncut.
Style-The style of the magazine will be informal, using humour butnot afraid to offer strong
comments on events. The magazine is for indie fans so it will be simple and interesting with a lot of
