3. This research study examines the relationship
between academic achievements and lifestyle of
students. Many issues today affect the
achievement gap and the ability for at-risk
students to succeed. Most data, as revealed in
the studies included in this review, conclude the
factors identifying at-risk students do have a
significant impact on academic achievement of
individual students and schools. Most
often, these students are not successful and
eventually drop out of school.
4. Descriptive correlation research which included
some college students who were chosen using
multi stage random sampling
It revealed that the frequency of alcohol
consumption of college students was 0-1 time
per week. Frequency of alcohol consumption of
students was significantly related to gender and
parental strictness
Some of them were smokers that smoked less
than five cigarettes a day
Majority of them disapproved of pre-marital sex.
Academic performance of college students was
significantly related to smoking, watching
television and engagement in sports.
