This document describes a home security system using an Arduino microcontroller. The system uses various sensors including a PIR motion sensor, temperature sensor, gas sensor, and smoke sensor. An ESP8266 WiFi module connects the system to the internet to allow remote monitoring and control via a mobile app or web application. The system detects intrusions and environmental changes and triggers an alarm. When the PIR sensor detects motion, it sends a notification to the user's phone. This low-cost smart home security system provides remote monitoring and control capabilities while requiring minimal external hardware components.
