2. Alexander S. Green
was born in 1880 , in
Sloboda Vyatka
province . His
childhood was spent
in Vyatka . His
mother died when
the boy was 12 years
old . Stepmother did
not love his stepson .

3. Primary education Green got home . He was expelled from the
secondary school . He went to another school , but he never
received any good education . Green loved reading . His
imagination was in the distant lands , mysterious shores , sea space .

4. He tried to become a
sailor .
At the age of 16 he ran
away to Odessa . He
tried many professions :
a fisherman, a worker
on the farm , etc .

5. Green joined the army ,
then ran away from
there .
Green ‘s first story came
to the readers in 1906 .
In 1930 , the writer
moved to the Crimea,
where in 1932 , he
diesd of lung cancer .
Green lived in different
cities of Russia .
