LaunchPad Winter 2014
1. LaunchPad
$2,500 GRANTS
What is it?
How would you like $2500 to move your great idea
forward… right now!
• Do you have a new venture idea that you can’t
stop thinking about?
• Do you need help making your venture actually
happen?
• Would cash and mentorship make a world of
difference?
The JMH Venture LaunchPad Readiness Grant is your
opportunity to take the next step in your journey toward
being the founder of your own successful venture!
The Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is
looking for up to three students who want to spend the
semester refining their idea and getting ready to launch
their venture. Did we mention we’ll pay you $2500 to do
this?!
And the LaunchPad doesn’t stop there. At the end of the
Winter semester we will hold the annual LaunchPad Pitch
Competition, where multiple student ventures are eligible
for grants of up to $10,000!
Successful applicants will likely have spent time refining
their idea into a real opportunity. They may have taken
one or more Entrepreneurship courses where they
advanced their idea into a viable business model. While
all Mount Royal University students are welcome to apply,
those who have moved beyond the initial phase of “I think
I have an idea” will likely be more successful.
The JMH Venture LaunchPad is generously supported by
JMH & Co.
