Following are the protective measures given by WHO (2020d), 1. Wash hands completely using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer will kill the virus, 2. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth when outside. 3. Be updated about the virus. 4. Avoid travelling or gathering in crowded places. 5. Women with infants are encouraged to breastfeed their babies to enhance their immunity. WHO is coordinating efforts to develop vaccines and medicines to prevent and treat COVID-19 (WHO, 2020d). National Institutes of Health (NIH), has mentioned that SARS- CoV-2 could survive for up to 3 h maximum as aerosols to a maximum of three days on surfaces. Slowing the spread of the COVID-19 cases will significantly reduce the strain on the healthcare system of the country by limiting the number of people who are severely sick by COVID-19 and need hospital care. It will also give researchers more time to develop the vaccine against COVID-19. So, it's time for all the citizens to join hands together to fight against coronavirus by practicing self-hygiene and social distancing (Balachandar Vellingir, etc, 2020). it is hoped that with our health and hygiene we will be able to release us from the COVID-19 virus and a vaccine for this virus can be found soon, and we can return to our daily lives without fearing overshadowed by this virus.
