This document provides instructions for an activity where students will learn about editing techniques used in film and television. It explains that students will watch video clips in groups, identify the editing techniques used, and present their findings to the class. They will then continue working on their own video projects, applying what they have learned about techniques like cutaways, dissolves, and montages. The goals are for all students to be able to explain editing techniques, most to discuss reasons for their use, and some to implement techniques in their own edits.
