This document outlines a 8-day unit plan to teach first grade students about US Presidents. The main objective is for students to understand the role and duties of the President, know information about past and current presidents, and be able to identify American symbols. Each day focuses on a different topic, such as learning about the first President, the election process, and visiting the White House virtually. Students will participate in activities like writing letters to the President, creating flags, and having a classroom election. The plan aims to teach students about Presidents and American symbols with 100% accuracy.
2. ANALYZE THE LEARNER
I have 25 learners in a first grade class, which
includes 14 boys and 11 girls. I will watch my
learners closely to figure out what kinds of
activities will help them learn more efficiently.
While analyzing my learners I have noticed that
two boys have mild ADHD.
