Examples Of Ethical Views
My Ethical View There are six ethical views that are used in describing our personal ethics and
graded absolutism (GA) is the view that best describes my ethical view. This view holds that moral
conflicts will happen, a hierarchy that acquiesces with the teachings of the Bible which infers being
blameless for doing the greater good, whereas, I believe the others do not.
The three views that are categorized as non–absolutism, in my opinion, cannot be claimed if one is a
Christian and follows the tenants of the Bible. For instance, McDonald (2010) posits, "The over‐
riding objection to ethical relativism rests on the consequences of accepting relativism, which
undermines the existence and strength of global moral standards and the inherent positioning of
ethical absolutism" (p. 457). This ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The view of UA "...is that all moral conflicts are only apparent; they are not real. Sin is always
avoidable" (Geisler, 2010. p.66). Since the fall of Adam and Eve, sin is inevitable, there are moral
conflicts that require sinning, and all will be judge by God in the end. If all sin were unavoidable,
then a Christian fighting during WWII would be damned for killing an enemy and would not be
forgiven. That person must follow the laws of the government and they were required by law to
fight for our country. As for conflicting absolutism (CA), this view appears to be very close to my
beliefs, however, CA believes in doing the lesser of two evils. This means a person will be
confronted with moral conflicts that causes sin in either choice and must perform the sin that is less
evil than the other. This is not the same as GA because they are always looking for the greater good.
Osei (2015) notes, "... 'absolute moral principles' that are based in the 'absolute moral character of
God' can

Cultural Relativism And The View That Ethical Systems Or...
Section 1 1. Cultural relativism Cultural relativism refers to the view that ethical systems or moral
actions that are perceived to vary across cultural diversity are all equal and valid and as such, no one
culture is better than the other is. For instance, by taking how words are used in one culture to mean
a thing, the same words may be employed in a different culture to mean another thing. Another
example is prayer announcements in Saudi Arabia can be heard from far distance which legal. Even
if that may disturb your neighbors who are not Muslims. However, in United States such thing is
illegal and consider a noise violation. 2. The difference between rights and responsibilities Rights
refer to the obligations other people owe to me in order to earn my respect and to value one's
character. For instance, anyone in any given state has a right to enjoy a peaceful and secure
environment. On the other hand, responsibilities refer to the obligation which is something that has
to be done to accomplish a task. I as an individual ought to carry out. For instance, it is my
responsibility as a citizen of my nation to pay taxes to help the country. 3. Affirmative action
Affirmative action refers to any action or policy that is aimed at securing an equal workplace, that
extend beyond simple legal access, but that does not alter the standards or qualifications for
employment. In other words, they are policies or action set down mostly in a workplace to eliminate
discrimination in

Immanuel Kant's Views on Duties and Ethical Leadership
Leaders are responsible for influencing followers to perform a task, duty, or to be representative of
their followers/constituents' wants and needs. In order for a leader to perform their task and duty
effectively, they must possess ethics and morals that prized by their followers and that create loyalty
among them. Because leaders are supposed to set a strong example of ethical behavior and ethical
practices, it is imperative that leadership follow and set morally acceptable behaviors and that
leadership conduct itself in a acceptable ethical manner. As such, leadership must conform to certain
ethical principles, which Immanuel Kant attempts to define in Fundamental Principles of the
Metaphysics of Morals. One of the central elements Immanuel Kant attempts to define is how
obligation and duty relate to moral law and how these determine moral worth. In order to determine
what drives an individual to be dutiful, Kant first attempts to define what qualities in an individual
will lead to moral behavior. Kant argues,
Intelligence, wit, judgment, and the other talents of the mind, however they may be named, or
courage, resolution, perseverance, as qualities of temperament, are undoubtedly good and desirable
in many respects; but these gifts of nature may also become extremely bad and mischievous if the
will which is to make use of them, and which, therefore, constitutes what is called character, is not
good.
Kant argues that although one may have values and morals that are

Ethical Views of the Holocaust
Ethical Views of the Holocaust
In this paper I will be going over the ethical views of the Holocaust. I have taken information from
the accounts of surviving Jews of the Holocaust. I have also looked at information from those who
believe the Holocaust was not a big deal and deny that many of the events even happened. I will
bring up some viewpoints that may change people's perception of the Holocaust. Some of these facts
were a shock to me and changed my view a little but some are so profound they make you think
twice. The biggest impact from all my research was the real life accounts of those who survived
through it. Many of this information are hard to read, but I felt that is was a subject that I would like

Once out of the building they were given an issued set of clothing. They then had a large red cross
painted on their backs. During the days they used to do head counts of the women. They were forced
to stand up for up to five hours. In the scorching sun with out water and food this was a very
daunting task. When the women would pass out and drop the S.S. men would take them away most
likely to be terminated. They were forced to use a communal opened latrine and they had nothing
for their menstrual cycle. This was all very degrading to the individual, and brought down the
human spirit. They came from a form of society where all of this stuff was very personal and
private. But their being was broken down enough so that this sort of thing did not bother them any
more. Many holocaust accounts say that the Jews were killed in masses. There is also the number
that six million Jews were killed during the holocaust. There is a new group of people called the
revisionist. These people are historians who are studying the holocaust and trying to find out what
happened. They are said to deny the holocaust. They do not deny it; they are just revising by looking
at the facts. They have now moved the number of Jewish deaths from the holocaust to around 1–2
million. Their reasoning is this. The 6 million figures included the death of every European Jew in
the war regardless on how they died. The number included even the death of civilians from allied
bombing.

Christian Worldview Research Paper
"As we evaluate the adequacy of competing worldviews, it soon becomes evident that not all of
them give the same answers to life's most profound questions." (Wilkens & Sanford, 2009) A
worldview is our perception or conception of the world around us and provides answers to questions
like, "What part do I have to play in this world?" It is important to constantly evaluate and check
your worldview to ensure that you are truly living to what you say you believe. During my
examination of different worldviews and the comparison to the Christian worldview, I have come to
realize how things like individualism, moral relativism, and even nationalism have come to play a
part in my own worldview and I have learned the importance of constantly comparing ... Show more

I strive to keep my worldview in check with what the Bible teaches about individualism. The Bible
teaches me how to value myself and the others around me, "When I claim to be the prime reality in
the universe, this requires that I see others either as a tool for maintaining my status or as a
competitor for my place at the center." (Wilkens & Sanford, 2009) However, Jesus taught us the
value of human life when he commanded us, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Mark
12:31) Jesus was teaching against an individualistic worldview and showing that everyone is to be
valued the same and should be loved just as much as we love ourselves. This Christian worldview
teaches us to find our value in God who is the real prime reality. Truly looking at individualism and
examining what I believed about myself and the others around me taught me to look at people
differently. I will admit that at times I saw other people as tools for business or just customers who
come to my place of work. However, the Bible has taught me to see other people as equals to me, all

Pros And Cons Of Animal Testing: Ethical Views
Ethical Views on Animal Testing
One of my best friends is not human; he is a dog. My family and I consider him to be part of us
because Donnie is a cute and unique individual. He is a dog, but he acts like a cat. He sleeps all day,
and when a person tries to cuddle him he squirms off. When he wants to, he will lay next to a person
and stay there. Donnie is so cute; I love him. Although, my love for animals is not limited. In fact, I
find every animal fascinating: elephants are majestic, bald eagles are fierce, and koi goldfishes are
elegant. When animals are needlessly harmed, it breaks my heart. As an example, elephants are
being hunted for their tusks as a way to make money. It is sickening to see a majestic animal die.

Although, animal testing may have saved people from diseases, but at what cost. "All procedures,
even those classified as 'mild,' have the potential to cause the animals physical as well as
psychological distress and suffering. Often the procedures can cause a great deal of suffering"
(Humane Society International, 2017). Humane Society International (2017) also listed out common
procedures used in animal testing: forced chemical exposure in toxicity testing, exposure to
diseases, genetic manipulation, ear–notching, tail–clipping, periods of physical restraint, food and
water deprivation, surgical procedures, infliction of pain to study its effects, behavioural
experiments designed to cause distress, and killing by carbon dioxide asphyxiation, neck–breaking,
decapitation, and other means. Not to mention, all of these procedures are cruel, and the animals can
feel pain that has been inflicted upon it. In fact, a majority of these procedures is considered animal
cruelty. According to the NDAA (2016), animal cruelty constitutes as "physical harm or killing," and
animal neglect is considered when failure to provide food and water. Practically all of the common
procedures fit into these categories. Despite how animal testing aligns with animal cruelty, almost
all state laws exempts animals in research (NDAA, 2016). So, it continues. Another negative aspect
is how animal testing is unreliable; Humane

Biblical Worldview Research Paper
A biblical worldview has many characteristics. It mainly differs from the other worldviews in its
view of a creator and what happens to us when we die. According to Romans 1:20 since the creation
of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made
even His eternal power and Godhead. This worldview centers on a loving protecting creator who is
here to guide us in our daily lives. God showed himself to us through his own written word.
Prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the
Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:21) this scripture shows us that the bible writers wrote not their own words
but those of God.

This is a similar worldview as existentialism because it is based in evolution also. It trusts science to
explain and investigate things. It doesn't believe in a creator as a maker of the universe. It does not
believe in a spirit realm. According to naturalism we are animals who have developed a higher level
of reason self consciousness and our own conscious. They believed we have not tapped our full
potential. Also they derive meaning form developing. They think that we can always improve. That's
why science is useful to them. The hope for the future is bleak also. When you die according this
worldview your personality and soul is forever terminated at death. There will be total extinction.
Naturalism is the understanding that there is a solitary, regular world as appeared by science, and
that we are totally incorporated into it. Naturalism holds that all that we are and do is associated
with whatever is left of the world and gotten from conditions that go before us and encompass us.
Each of us is an unfurling normal process, and each part of that procedure is created, and is a cause
itself. So we are completely brought about animals, and seeing exactly how we are created gives us
power and control, while empowering empathy and modesty. Naturalism demonstrates our full
association with the world and others, it prompts morals of empathy, and it gives us far more
noteworthy control over our circumstances. By

Ethical views expressed in 'Lord of the Flies'
The Ethical Views Expressed In Lord Of The Flies. In this human world, wherever we turn there
will always be conflict. No human is perfect, and all humans err. Therefore we should understand
that to err is only human, and to forgive is divine. The ethical views expressed in the renowned
bestseller novel, Lord of the Flies, brings into perspective the ever changing external and internal
conflict that lies within each of us. None of us can quite identify with and comprehend what is
passing through another 's mind, but we must make allowances for their doubting too. An example
of this would be found on page 19, after Ralph is nominated chief and the author states that even the

It is also possible that we as humans can cause the downfall and corrupt our society. For example,
this novel demonstrates that the mistakes made by the children, added to the list of growing
controversies that played a major part in the miscellaneous distortions of the society, as a whole.
Therefore it is without doubt wise to think before you act, and consult all you options before diving
headfirst into something that will cause a lot of trouble in the long run. I would have been more
appropriate if Ralph had not allowed Jack to become such a close friend of his, as I feel that it
helped spark the malicious contempt that Jack had possessed. This was first displayed on page 19,
where Ralph commanded Jack to be the head of the hunters. Our nature will always get the better of
us and destroy us. Hence, we should be able to differentiate between right and wrong. It is
understandable that sometimes, this might not always be the case. The person involved might be
unable to decide things for themselves or be swayed by a very strong point of view or opinion. On
page 166, Jack leads a new tribe, and questions the others who want to join the tribe. This caused
chaos, as the group of boys that were once bound together in one tribe, were deserting Ralph. After
all, united we stand, divided we fall. Without agreeing on absolutely everything, we will succumb to
failure. And as technologies, theories and opinions improve and decline, we are only contributing

Ethical Views, Rules And Theory
Ethical Views, Rules and Theory's
In this section I will be briefly discussing one major Ethical view, theory and model and explaining
their useful applications and limitations through examples. There are four major ethical topics we
have discussed in the course, in this reflection I will examine the three I see most fitting for this
reflection. The three are utilitarianism, moral rights and the Theory of Justice.
Utilitarianism is a view in which decisions are based on majority. The right decision considering this
view is the choice that creates the most good for the largest amount of people. The major downside
to this view is the judgment of good and bad. Is the severe harm of a smaller group of people worth

Managers of businesses should keep this approach in mind when at work. Eavesdropping on
employees may violates their moral right to privacy. The right to free speech in the work place
allows whistleblowers to help keep the business morally good by reporting any unethical behaviors.
This view acknowledges your rights as a human being, but there is a downside to this view. All
fundamental rights are not universal. I may not agree that a right is given to someone freely and
therefore disagree with you on your moral and ethical view even though we both consider ourselves
having a morally right approach.
Theory of Justice is also referred to as the legal rule. This ethical decision is focused on the choice
that treats people fairly according to the legal system and the standards of law. This theory states
that ethical decisions involve procedural justice as well as consistency in punishment and in
processing decisions. The major issue with this ethical theory of decision making is that it is difficult
to objectively decide what fair rules and procedures are going to be and who gets to decide these
laws as well. This theory of ethics tends to be the most politically impacted. While some states use
capital punishment others may not. Is it unethical to sentence execution to someone based on
location of law? This is one example of the major issues that arise with this ethical view.

Just Business Christian Ethics For The Marketplace
Worldview is the fundamental cognitive orientation of an individual or society encompassing the
entirety of the individual or society 's knowledge and point of view (Wikipedia 2014). Worldview
includes, ontology, what we believe to be reality and epistemology, how we come to know reality.
Hill's identifies his worldview as theism. This is evidenced by the title of his book "Just Business–
Christian Ethics for the Marketplace". In this book he defines good as a balance of holiness, justice
and love. If each of these is areas is met the decision is moral. Badaracco, in comparison, points out
in his title "Leading Quietly–An Unorthodox Guide to Doing the Right Thing", his view is not
conforming to rules, traditions, or modes of conduct, as of a doctrine, religion, or philosophy
(dictionary.com, 2014). By the title of his book, Badaracco identifies his decision making as not
based on a religious worldview. Badaracco's view supports his concept "use time not to moralize or
preach, but to drill down into the technical and political aspects of your situation" (Badaracco,
2002). Ethical leadership is leading by what you believe to be right or wrong. The difficulty with
defining leadership as ethical because individuals have different worldviews. I would place
Badaracco's worldview as post–modernism. His definition of what is good is defined by the social
and political context of the culture in which the issue is occurring. The right decision, in his view, is

Ethical Views Of Ethics And Ethical Behavior
Many different views and concepts related to ethics are discussed by Schermerhorn and Bachrach in
this week's lecture. As leaders and managers, a detailed understanding of these concepts is essential
to providing appropriate leadership, guidance, and role–modeling to our employees, peers, and
customers. Ethics and ethical behavior are especially important based on the scrutiny placed on
leaders and managers in today's world of increasing mass communication, social media, and
enhanced transparency. Schermerhorn and Bachrach discuss four ethical views. These are the
Utilitarian, Individualism, Moral–rights, and Communitive Justice views of ethics (Schermerhorn &

Sometimes the effects are unplanned and unforeseen. The Individualism view focuses on the
concept that society as a whole will be better off if each individual strives to fulfill their own self–
interests (Schermerhorn & Bachrach, 2015). This view has the disadvantage of being focused on the
individual rather than society as a whole. Although individual happiness and self–fulfillment are
important, does society truly benefit from an individualistic view? In my opinion, this concept is
open to basic human nature and the need for individuals to, when given the opportunity, focus only
on themselves and the benefit they can gain. Unfortunately, this is a common theme in today's
society. In my work experience, I have frequently been exposed to individuals that have nothing in
mind but focus on how the system can benefit them, with little regard for the greater organization. In
most cases, I have ultimately witnessed these individuals and their intentions exposed either
formally or informally. The Moral rights view of ethical behavior focuses on individuals and their
basic rights (Schermerhorn & Bachrach, 2015). A disadvantage of the Moral rights view of ethical
behavior is that this view is solely tied to maximizing the rights of the

Abortion from an Ethical Point of View
It is widely accepted that the fact of abortion has been a subject of conversation and controversy for
many decades. Since the proportion of people who accept abortion as a ?normal? procedure is equal
to the proportion of those who think of abortion as a ?crime?, through time a lot of measurements
have been taken against abortion but concerning it?s defense as well. Although the fact of abortion
has been examined through it?s scientific and religious side, in this assignment we will try and

This would seem to be a definite point against abortion, though not, a dominant one. The second
party that we should consider are the parents and other family, and guardians if the alternative to
abortion is adoption. According to some studies, having a baby appears to decrease the happiness in
a relationship – even in those cases where the pregnancy is desired. But again, this need not be
considered too much, it is not a dominant consideration. As is the case with many issues in a
utilitarian system, the rightness or wrongness of the act in question turns mainly not on the effects of
the act on the agent, nor on the beings directly affected by the act, but on the less direct effects on
the community at large. That means that the issue of abortion actually becomes one of the
desirability of increasing or decreasing the population. Given that there must be some population
size that can be regarded as the ?perfect? size, if we are allowed to place it this way for a society, it
is clear that Utility will ban new births above this amount while below this population size Utility
will prescribe reproduction. So the utilitarian, who suggests that the future happiness of the child,
combined with the estimated value of the effects on others, is such that Utility opposes abortion,
must admit that this would imply that Utility prescribes

Immanuel Kant's Ethical View On Health Care

(1998) in his national survey of physician assisted suicide and euthanasia in the US; found that even
when PAS is not legalized, there have been requests to hasten death in some situations.
6. A lot of those supporting PAS argue that it helps cut down on the health care costs. With the last
report showing $ 170 billion spent on the last six months of one's life, its clear health care is at its
peak when it comes to cost. Aggressive treatments as listed above are being done unnecessary which
creates the spike in health care. Hamlon & Marker (2010) argued that since there was an emphasis
on health care providers to contain costs, euthanasia or PAS could become a means of cost
containment.
7. Death with dignity National center argues that having the death with dignity law provides a peace

Arguments against legalizing euthanasia or PAS include;

Gay couples because that is the right thing to do in today's society, at least here in the United States.
One must ask oneself and reflect what is better for a orphaned child's best interest? Is it ethical or
unethical to give a child an opportunity to be with loving parent/parents or not provide those parents

politicians, scientists, friends and family. Being gay and open about it without punishment is
culturally accepted mostly now in the United States. Just the fact that homosexuals have to fight to

usually overlook that value because parenthood is obviously common in heterosexual households.

How might you use your personal ethics to determine a course of action? I have an example in
which my personal ethics were greatly tested. When I was still working as an Assistant Security
Director, the head Security Director was a very harsh, uncaring, pushy type of a person. He often
treated all of his employees very poorly. He called everyone awful names. Once an employee had
made a mistake within their job duties, my boss would forever hold that over their heads and often
referred to those employees as "his retards." He would even introduce them to other people that
were hired into our department as retard # 1, 2, & 3. On a daily basis, I would watch our most
manly men come into the security office with their head held high, only to watch them leave feeling
less of a man, and their heads hung low. My boss would also make sexual remarks to all the female
security officers and I know it made them feel very uncomfortable. The Security Director knew that
what he was doing was terribly wrong, because he

The Ethical And Ethical Views Behind Computer Scientists
There has been a legitimate distinction between the moral and ethical views behind computer
scientists being responsible for the action that they take upon the problems that they can face from
the systems that they design. They must be faced with the codes of ethics and the morality issues in
order to acknowledge the user about the responsibility that they must encounter in order for the use
of technology. In the case of the technological society, the IT technology must include security
measures to avoid hacking and to be in line with legislations since it's an important factor towards
moral responsibilities. Several issues have been identified as a result to whether computer scientists
perform their job role correctly or not. The failure to not meeting the correct responsibilities of their
job could result in computer scientists exposing the perception of moral and ethical principles to the
audience and the society incorrectly. The lack of effective analogy forces can discover the
publicizing and anticipation with negative views and so shows the immoral aspects. Whereas, other
evidence could should morality since it can help the community and society into developing and
taking technology positively to a further level.

The Ethical Journey Of Views Of College Students
Many students leave for college and are excited to begin a new journey or chapter in their life. Many
had a long road to make it through high school while some found it easy. This paper will be
discussing the Ethical journey of views of college students. What make some cheat while other are
honest and how is cheating or academic dishonesty viewed by the American people. What are ethics
and how they do apply to the college student, and how does the college student s apply it to the
world.
Ethics has many meanings but for this period of instruction according to the Internet Encyclopedia
of Philosophy it is described as: (moral philosophy) involves systematizing defending and
recommending concepts of right and wrong (Encyclopedia). Most students learn this from an early
age, cheating is not tolerated and will not be condoned. Why do some students cheat while others
don't?
Research has shown that some students cheating behaviors are linked to students of lower abilities
are more likely to cheat than those that have higher learning abilities. (Anderman et, al. 2006).
While some students struggle to make things happen by studying hard and trying their best at
everything they do. There are the other students that are very well put together and smart and are
expected to do their best. Do they cheat as well? And if so why? Research has found that students
that are expected to keep a high grade point average and get into the best colleges around the world
also cheat. But

Badaracco, in comparison, points out
in his title "Leading Quietly–An Unorthodox Guide to Doing the Right Thing", his view is not
conforming to rules, traditions, or modes of conduct, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In my opinion Hill and Badaracco's worldview would cause differences in their practice of ethical
leaders. Hill's leadership ethics are based on the changeless character of God If we behave in a way
consistent with God's character we are behaving ethically (Hill, 2008). On the other hand,
Badaracco's leadership ethics are based on doing what is right for each situation. In his view the
right answer depends upon the participants in the situation and how much power, or political capital,
you have as the leader compared to the others involved. If you have more power you may be able to
opt for a riskier, higher impact decision. Less power should lead you to consider the risk that
decision has to your reputation and career rather. This could lead you to take options and make
decisions which may not fit into what you feel is entirely the right thing to do.
These differences in ethical decision making could impact the leader in a couple of ways.
A leader who follows Badarocco's decision making format could be viewed as inconsistent. If
decision making is based on the situation and the players involved, the leaders decision making
could be seen as erratic and inconsistent overtime. The leader also will not have a consistent
framework for the behavior they model, because the framework is also situational. In contrast, Hill
presents a decision making plan identifies values that

Ethical Views Of Kant And Nielsen
The purpose of the paper is to compare ethical views of Kant and Nielsen. Both figures are quite
noticeable in philosophy of ethics. The works of Kant stand out among the philosophical treatises on
ethics. Kant's ethics in many ways was the pinnacle of moral philosophy of modern times. Nielsen
considered that philosophy is related to practical matters. Philosophy thinking includes abstract
theorizing and practical action. Nielsen claims that morality cannot be grounded on religion, and
that there is no sign to demonstrate that doubters deject or lose their feeling of individuality and
objective. He stresses that the consequences of Christian absolutism are more probable to be
outrageous than are those of a material ethic that integrates a ... Show more content on

One of the merits of Kant is that he separated the questions of the existence of God, the soul,
freedom – issues of theoretical reason – from the question of practical reason: what should I do?
Practical philosophy of Kant has had a huge impact on the next generations of philosophers.
Current research of Kantian ethics is an attempt to give new ways of rethinking and new approaches
for Reconstruction of critical ethics. Critical Kantian ethics as its starting point is the recognition of
the practice, which is embodied with rational human behaviour. Just as theoretical philosophy
clarifies the question of the possibility of truth and scientific knowledge, all practical philosophy is
devoted to human practice, and consideration of the ratio of real freedom and the moral law is one
of the major problems of understanding the Kantian practical philosophy. According to Kant, the
unity of the critical philosophy with Kant's moral philosophy should be found in the fundamental
situation of human in the world and his understanding of the unity of knowledge and to push the
boundaries of behaviour. Indeed, the moral behaviour requires not only awareness of the obligation,
but also a practical accomplishment.
The only thing that was originally destined to a human is his pursuit of happiness; the most
fundamental needs and interests of the people ultimately boil down to achieve bliss. But even if this
fundamental nature of human can be distinguished from available human

360 Degree Photography Affordances and Constraints
Media has changed vastly over the decades. We have different styles of media, different ways to
view media, and so many different options when it comes to creating media. A recent technology
that has started to gain traction is 360–degree photography. This new technology allows people to
view more than traditional 2–D perspective. With this new way of being able to capture a scene
comes many affordances and constraints.
Being able to capture everything around you, then allow another person to experience entirely the
same scene is something that has never been able to be done before. The technology for 360–degree

Having devices that allow us to put on a headpiece and be put into another reality is a huge step for
media.
With these devices, unfortunately, come many constraints. The content creator has more options for
what the viewer can see, but at the same time it may not be what they want the viewer to see. In
most forms of media today there is a main point that the viewer is observing. 2–D perspective video
creators are able to change perspectives of how the viewer sees the media, but with 360 degrees the
viewer may not see it in the same way the original creator intended. The viewer may even miss main
points entirely because they were looking around and the main point of a video was behind them.
On top of this the viewer may not even be able to watch the video. Many people report nausea when
watching videos in 360 degrees. If there is not a way to ensure people do not feel sick while
watching the videos, that means that this media will be limited by the number of people who are
able to tolerate it. Being able to create the quality of content that is currently available on 2–D
platforms may be difficult could also be an issue. Movie shoots require a lot of people and
equipment, which is all behind the camera when only shooting one perspective. In a 360–movie you
have to make sure you are capturing the things you want and nothing more. There is most likely

The Ethical Views Of Ethics Essay
No two people are the same, and they will never be the same. Even twins have different ways of
viewing things. This is the same for people ethical views, according the The Merriam–Websters
Dictionary (2015) the definitions for ethics is "The rules of behavior based on ideas about what is
morally good and bad." Knowing what is morally right or wrong especially in the business world
can help prevent scandals or corrupt business practices. But in today society, ethics can be blurred
through situations and personal views, now it seems as though people aren't even thinking about
what is ethical but more so what can benefit them. Within recent months, news of FIFA allowing
bribes to be accepted from certain people has managed to corrupted a billion dollar business and
affected their corporation along with allowing the world to see their ethical views. In this paper I
will be talking about whether or not this a topical of ethical views, is this a common situation with
management and if it affected international business. As stated before no two people are the same,
and now two people's thoughts are the same. But at the end of the day everyone's views on ethics
boils down to knowing right or wrong. For example, if someone were to rob a bank that person
knows for a fact that is it wrong and that he may go to jail. There would be no "Maybe it was right
for him to rob the bank." This is the same for FIFA. Allowing bribes to be placed on the next place

Ethical Relativism In The Prescriptive View
Ethical Relativism in ethics is the belief that nothing is objectively right or wrong and that the
definition of right or wrong depends on the prevailing view of a particular individual culture or
historical period (www.dictionary.com). Ethical Relativism in the prescriptive view is: 1. Different
groups of people ought to have different ethical standards for evaluating acts of right or wrong. 2.
These different beliefs are true in their respective societies and 3. These different beliefs are not
instances of a basic moral principle (philosophy.lander.edu). There have also been some criticisms
of ethical relativism. Some people have had a numeral of complaints against this. The point that
ethical relativism is correct it would mean that even the most ridiculous practices such as slavery
and abuse of women would be "right" if they were looked at by the standards of society. Relativism
would deprive people of means of rising morals objectives against bad social customs provided they
are approved by ways of the society. Critics also say that it depends on what sorts of differences of
social networks are at issues. It may seem like a good policy where benign differences between
cultures are concerned. Critics also say that disagreements about ethics do not mean that there
cannot be truth. They also state that there is no positive way to judge a society's practice from the
outside.

A Worldview Research Paper
A Worldview is formed depending on a variety of things. It refers to how one approaches life issues
from a basis formed by religion, beliefs or culture. Culture forms the first foundation in the
formation of a worldview. It exists in the pride of being a society, where it defines the requirements
for one to fit in. Deviation from a cultural ground leads to separation from those who practice it.
Religion also plays a vital role in the acquisition of a worldview. Given that each unique religion has
its moral direction and selected ethical choices based on the existence of a superior deity or the lack
of it thereof. Just like culture, religions demand compliance with the rules they set down regarding
different life situations (van der Walt, 2001).

Ethical Views On Abortion
An ethical debate that I have seen play out over the years is abortion. Abortion is the removal of a
fertilized egg from the uterus. This falls under issues with religion and womens rights. There are
many different debates and point of views people have on this issue. Some agree with this, others do
not. I personally agree with abortion. Abortion should be a woman's choice to carry out with or not.
Personally I have never had one and wouldn't consider one for myself, but I do know people who
have had one. I don't think any less of them. I think that it is a painful decision to make, as well as a
responsible one to make. With that being said, abortions should not be treated like birth control."The
availability of effective contraceptives, along with medically safe, legally sanctioned abortion as a

So if that were to happen and one was not mentally, physically, emotionally, or even financially
ready for a baby, abortion is an option. There are pregnancy crisis centers , that generally try to
persuade woman to keep the pregnancy going. Pregnancy crisis centers could be of use to a woman
so I don't disagree with those. But there are also abortion clinic's when a woman's mind is made up.
What is comes down to is this should be a woman's choice. Sometimes a woman can fall pregnant
and not know they have an underlying condition that could harm them or their unborn baby, so
having the option for abortion can help save one or two people's lives. As I do agree with abortion, I
also agree with sexual education. Sex is a normal act that humans perform, no one should be shamed
for it. But both woman and men should make sure they're protected. There are many different birth
control methods out there, also some places offer free birth control / condoms. Also the Plan B is
also another option. Many people call this the abortion pill.

A Christian worldview is defined as a point of view that is seen in a Christian perspective. We see
life in the view of Christianity and live a Christ–like life with Jesus at the center of it. In the lecture
notes, we described a Christian worldview as, "a body of assumption that deals with the nature of
reality, the organization of the universe, the ends and purpose of human life, values, norms, and
differentiation between good and evil, right and wrong" (Casarez). It helps, Christians, understand
the rights and wrongs of the world we live in, and allows us to have a path that should be walked as

There has been talks about new media and how they need to portray both sides of the stories because
most media outlets portray their side of things to make it look like they are right in the sense of
religious and secular people. Most people accept the theory of evolution while the Bible denies any
sense of evolution. Evolutionist believe that forms of life was created through the process of natural
selection, while Christians believe that life was formed through God. In the book, Keller lists
different models that people believe and partake in including: conflict model, independence model,
and central model. People who think the conflict model is true, believe that Genesis chapter 1
teaches that God created all forms of life within twenty–four hours thousands of years ago.
Independent model says that God was the main creator in the beginning world and after that, natural
causes took over which created earth. Lastly, the central model says that God created some life and
then directed natural selection to develop the more complex of life. Keller says, "his miracles are not
just proof that he has power but also wonderful foretastes of what he is going to do with that power.
Jesus's miracles are not just a challenge to our minds, but a promise to our hearts, that the world we
want is coming" (Keller, 99). I believe in the Bible and that God created the world within His own
hands. I believe in the Bible and the way that everything happened. Through this scripture, it has
been said that heavens and earth were created exactly the way God intended it to be, and it was not
created out of a cosmic

Differences Between Reality And Reality
In today's society, worldviews are shaped by the cultural and ethical differences between different
types of people. Cultural differences can be very complex but can also establish the basis for who
people are and how they live their lives. One major complexity that can be associated with
worldviews is the idea of a surface–level behavior with deep–level assumptions. This idea is the
thought of many people acting just like everyone else around them, trying to fit in with society but
have a deeper understanding for life and what reality is. Throughout chapter 2, Kraft discusses the
differences between REALITY and reality, referring to the deeper understanding of life and
understanding what is true and right. Compared to seeing the surface value of everything in life and
"looking through filters" and only seeing what society and media has to offer. In today's world
people focus only on the materialistic view of life and focus on money and wealth, which produces
adults in society that know how to think but not how to live life. Yet every day, people encounter
REALITY but do not understand and often shy away from what is not normal to us. People in
today's society are afraid to learn new things, society focuses on competition and even encourages it,
and it challenges boys to question men and businesses to fight businesses which leads to suffering
society. The worldview of today's society is solely based off of what media and technology teach us,
yet people today are blinded by

Milton Friedman's Views on Business and Ethical Consideration

environment. Ø Consider the multiple publics (employees, suppliers, consumers, communities, and

I believe that companies are responsible to honor their promises and show their good manners to the
society, it is very important to look good in front of the world as an ethical company with good
manners. Ethical consideration is required when conducting business in the 21st century for many
reasons. First of all, there is nothing wrong from being ethical, in the contrary you will gain people's
trust and chances for your company to be more reputable are much higher. When considering ethical
issues, we have to consider things in a global prospective, because what may be perfectly right for
one nation may be looked in a different way from a different nation. So, people have to be very
careful when setting ethical standards, and sometimes businesses are forced to follow morals of
another country. Paying attention to details is the key to success, and I have noticed this while living
in Qatar, how some of the global companies have changed TV advertisements and they have
adopted them to Qatari culture. For example when they are presenting a new softener for clothes
they may use a model wearing hijab (a veil to cover female's hair) and this is very appreciated in
Muslim countries and makes them buy that product instead of another products using a normal
model. With other words, this would not be an unethical situation back in the States but in the other
hand it touches the moral of a different nation and

two key conflicts are expressed towards the public. The first conflict consists of the question of
which stem cells will be used to create the organs. The second conflict elaborates on the possibility
of creating organs that will enhance our natural capabilities as humans. These interpretations of the

On January 29 2014, a few years after the publication of the science papers, the Gartner company
published a press release that ignited the ethical conflict of 3D printing organs. Gartner Inc. quotes
Pete Basiliere's (research vice president for Gartner Inc.) statement within the press release "[w]hat

the first reference to the conflict is the question of what will occur when enhanced organ are made
out of non–human cells. On that same day three other mass media outlets (The Telegraph, IBT and
Computerworld) published articles that referenced Gartner's press release. It is important to note that
these articles all quote what Basiliere said within the press release. This indicates that they used
Gartner Inc.'s press release as a primary source of information for their own articles.
The article from The Telegraph states, "3D printing 's ability to manufacture highly customised
human organs and anatomical parts will raise inevitable ethical and moral dilemmas." The Telegraph
article only states that the ability to create customized organs will raise this ethical conflict. Nothing

Magnification in endodontic; an ethical point of view
Introduction
Endodontic refers to that field of dentistry that deals with diagnosing and treating pulpal and
periapical diseases as to preserve the surrounding tissue. (1) Until recently, root canal treatment
therapy was traditionally performed using tactile sensation of the clinician and the root canal system
could only be seen on a two–dimensional radiograph. To perform an endodontic treatment regularly
means to work in a dark and narrowed place, and little bit of millimeters may decide the outcome of
therapy, as it relays on the dentist knowledge and expertise many results were achieved by chance.

in particular, this provided better magnification, illumination and was easier to use. (8)
Clinical significant
Owing to its excellent magnification and fixed illumination, the operating microscope when

The Sweatshop Issues From Ethical Theories Views
Introduction
Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the vast range of goods produced overseas and the
often horrifying conditions under which workers labored to produce them. College students,
activists, and certain scholars were quick to condemn "Sweatshops" and the multinational
companies (MNC's) that used them. However, this initial moral condemnation was based more on a
natural sense of horror than moral reasoning, and critics often demonstrated a lack of sensitivity to
both the underlying economic conditions that gave rise to the sweatshop phenomenon and to the
beneficial consequences of sweatshops for both their employees and the broader economies in
which they functioned. As a result, many economists quickly leapt to the ... Show more content on

When economic growth, it creates more jobs opportunities which will cause the labour market to
tighten, which in turn will force MNCs to improve working conditions in order to attract workers.
Bear in mind, individuals who have no jobs at all are working on alternative jobs which are more
hazardous and exploitative than sweatshops. For example, when Child Labor Deterrence Act (US)
introduced, there were about 50,000 Bangladeshi children dismissed from garment industry jobs and
many of them took up stone–crushing, street hustling or even prostitution. In this sense, the working
conditions are far worse than the sweatshops. Jeffrey Sachs also claimed that international trade
will, in the long run, make all parties better off. As a result of improving the working conditions,
MNCs could have been successfully pursuing ethical branding and shifted out the demand curve for
their products which in turn it will bolster the economic expansion and reduce unemployment rate.
At the same time, Maitland does not accept the view that sweatshops pay unconscionable wages, or
that they impoverish local workers and widen the gap between rich and poor. He argued that
interfering with the market can have terrible results and not only paying market wages in developing
countries is morally permissible but also that it may be morally wrong for companies to pay wages
that exceed market levels.

Ethical Views On Abortion
Do you believe in abortion? Well this question can have multiple answers according to your ethical
beliefs and religion. Abortion is one of the most fiercely discussed ethical problems in the recent
decades in America. Abortion which can be defined as, the removal of an embryo or fetus from the
uterus in order to end a pregnancy, is an old, but living topic for debate. It has been argued that the
world remains divided between legalizing abortion or not. Since the Supreme Court handed down its
1973 decisions in Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, states have constructed a lattice work of abortion
law, codifying, regulating and limiting whether, when and under what circumstances a woman may

All schools of islam, regard abortion as wrong or Hiram (prohibited). In the Qur'an or Torah it does
not specifically mention abortion, but explicate the creation of a human life and the consequences of
it. " Whosever has spared the life of a soul, it is as though he has spared the life of all people.
Whoever has killed a soul, it is as though he has murdered all of mankind."(Qur'an) In the religion
of Islam, a child should not be killed so they can support and provide the parents after retiring. The
parents will fear from lack of support if a child is killed. "Kill not your offspring for fear of poverty;
it is we who provide for them and for you. Surely, killing them is a great sin" (Qur'an). Depending
on what islamic school you are attending and learning from, changes the way of belief and vision.
Some schools are more accepting of abortion than others, although other schools believe there are
more laws that should be followed involving abortion. Based on conceivable interpretation of the
Holy Qur'an and teachings of the prophet, the different views one may have on the killing of a fetus.
Islam does not at all believe that a woman has full authority over her unborn child as part of her
body. "No one, not even the parents, has the right to make decision about his life, unless its presence
threatens the life of the mother." (Aramesh) The parents have no say on whether or not the baby can
live unless the mother is in medical assistance caused by the unborn baby, which is also believed in
Judaism. In both Islam and Judaism an abortion is permissible with the consent of both parents up to
day 40; it is no longer allowed after that day.Under Islam, abortions are legal during the first 40 days
of pregnancy, because the prophet Muhammad said that a newly–formed fetus

People face ethical dilemmas every day. This brings to light what one's personal ethics are based on.
According to the lecture, "In a CWV ethics are grounded in absolute and universal moral principles
that have been given by God. In modern culture, moral standards are subjective and based upon
personal preference" (Lecture 16). In this essay a case study will be given and solutions to the
dilemma will be given from two different worldviews. The ethical dilemma I have chosen to write
about is abortion. I will first give the Christian worldviews opinion for this dilemma then I will give

Core Beliefs
The core beliefs that would be relevant to this situation from a Christian worldview are you shall not
kill and God has a reason for all things. All life is precious. God created all things and He creates
them to His divine plan. God has a plan for that child even though he or she will have Down
syndrome. God says killing is wrong in the Ten Commandments and abortion is the same as killing
someone.
Resolution
From a Christian worldview the solution would be to have the baby not and abortion. Abortion is
wrong in the eyes of God because it is an act of murder. All life is precious and when a women has
an abortion she is destroying God's perfect creation. That child is perfect in God's eyes even with the
Down syndrome. God has a will for that child.
Evaluation
If Susan decides to have the baby she will most probably have to quit her job and stay at home with
the child for the rest of the child's life. She will have to devote herself to the baby and always be
there for the child. According to Richard Dawkins, "you would probably be condemning yourself as

The Ethical Views Of Ethics
There are different legal right that govern our attitude and behavior in our society. In regards to
virtue ethic is seemed to be too complex for many of us to bear because of the way it was introduced
to our societies. There are laws that we have to follow, but there is a difference between laws and
ethics. There are a lot of professional and non–professional levels of behaviors that met up with their
target and achievement, but we use ethic to make our moral decisions in everyday life. Throughout
this course I have learned about different philosophers and their views about virtue ethics, which
many have similarities and each have adequate differences in regards to their prospective on human
ethical behavior's, that make their ideas stronger. Some of which I agree and disagree with. Their
contrasting opinions on ethical understanding is because they cite the use of their ethical views in
different ways and their aim for society understanding of ethics. When I compare the philosopher's
ethical believes, it is almost impossible to have a universal definition of what ethics are, the only
way to understand ethics is in our day to day practice. The philosopher views I admired throughout
this course is Aristotle. Concerning his ideas on "Virtue Ethics", he concentrates upon the concepts
of virtue and happiness. This primarily deals with the way in which a person should live. This has
puzzled the philosophers from the beginning of time, but there are many contrasting

Examples Of Ethical Views

  • 1. Examples Of Ethical Views My Ethical View There are six ethical views that are used in describing our personal ethics and graded absolutism (GA) is the view that best describes my ethical view. This view holds that moral conflicts will happen, a hierarchy that acquiesces with the teachings of the Bible which infers being blameless for doing the greater good, whereas, I believe the others do not. The three views that are categorized as non–absolutism, in my opinion, cannot be claimed if one is a Christian and follows the tenants of the Bible. For instance, McDonald (2010) posits, "The over‐ riding objection to ethical relativism rests on the consequences of accepting relativism, which undermines the existence and strength of global moral standards and the inherent positioning of ethical absolutism" (p. 457). This ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The view of UA "...is that all moral conflicts are only apparent; they are not real. Sin is always avoidable" (Geisler, 2010. p.66). Since the fall of Adam and Eve, sin is inevitable, there are moral conflicts that require sinning, and all will be judge by God in the end. If all sin were unavoidable, then a Christian fighting during WWII would be damned for killing an enemy and would not be forgiven. That person must follow the laws of the government and they were required by law to fight for our country. As for conflicting absolutism (CA), this view appears to be very close to my beliefs, however, CA believes in doing the lesser of two evils. This means a person will be confronted with moral conflicts that causes sin in either choice and must perform the sin that is less evil than the other. This is not the same as GA because they are always looking for the greater good. Osei (2015) notes, "... 'absolute moral principles' that are based in the 'absolute moral character of God' can ... • 3. Cultural Relativism And The View That Ethical Systems Or... Section 1 1. Cultural relativism Cultural relativism refers to the view that ethical systems or moral actions that are perceived to vary across cultural diversity are all equal and valid and as such, no one culture is better than the other is. For instance, by taking how words are used in one culture to mean a thing, the same words may be employed in a different culture to mean another thing. Another example is prayer announcements in Saudi Arabia can be heard from far distance which legal. Even if that may disturb your neighbors who are not Muslims. However, in United States such thing is illegal and consider a noise violation. 2. The difference between rights and responsibilities Rights refer to the obligations other people owe to me in order to earn my respect and to value one's character. For instance, anyone in any given state has a right to enjoy a peaceful and secure environment. On the other hand, responsibilities refer to the obligation which is something that has to be done to accomplish a task. I as an individual ought to carry out. For instance, it is my responsibility as a citizen of my nation to pay taxes to help the country. 3. Affirmative action Affirmative action refers to any action or policy that is aimed at securing an equal workplace, that extend beyond simple legal access, but that does not alter the standards or qualifications for employment. In other words, they are policies or action set down mostly in a workplace to eliminate discrimination in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 5. Immanuel Kant's Views on Duties and Ethical Leadership Leaders are responsible for influencing followers to perform a task, duty, or to be representative of their followers/constituents' wants and needs. In order for a leader to perform their task and duty effectively, they must possess ethics and morals that prized by their followers and that create loyalty among them. Because leaders are supposed to set a strong example of ethical behavior and ethical practices, it is imperative that leadership follow and set morally acceptable behaviors and that leadership conduct itself in a acceptable ethical manner. As such, leadership must conform to certain ethical principles, which Immanuel Kant attempts to define in Fundamental Principles of the Metaphysics of Morals. One of the central elements Immanuel Kant attempts to define is how obligation and duty relate to moral law and how these determine moral worth. In order to determine what drives an individual to be dutiful, Kant first attempts to define what qualities in an individual will lead to moral behavior. Kant argues, Intelligence, wit, judgment, and the other talents of the mind, however they may be named, or courage, resolution, perseverance, as qualities of temperament, are undoubtedly good and desirable in many respects; but these gifts of nature may also become extremely bad and mischievous if the will which is to make use of them, and which, therefore, constitutes what is called character, is not good. Kant argues that although one may have values and morals that are ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. Ethical Views of the Holocaust Ethical Views of the Holocaust In this paper I will be going over the ethical views of the Holocaust. I have taken information from the accounts of surviving Jews of the Holocaust. I have also looked at information from those who believe the Holocaust was not a big deal and deny that many of the events even happened. I will bring up some viewpoints that may change people's perception of the Holocaust. Some of these facts were a shock to me and changed my view a little but some are so profound they make you think twice. The biggest impact from all my research was the real life accounts of those who survived through it. Many of this information are hard to read, but I felt that is was a subject that I would like to learn more about. Doing ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Once out of the building they were given an issued set of clothing. They then had a large red cross painted on their backs. During the days they used to do head counts of the women. They were forced to stand up for up to five hours. In the scorching sun with out water and food this was a very daunting task. When the women would pass out and drop the S.S. men would take them away most likely to be terminated. They were forced to use a communal opened latrine and they had nothing for their menstrual cycle. This was all very degrading to the individual, and brought down the human spirit. They came from a form of society where all of this stuff was very personal and private. But their being was broken down enough so that this sort of thing did not bother them any more. Many holocaust accounts say that the Jews were killed in masses. There is also the number that six million Jews were killed during the holocaust. There is a new group of people called the revisionist. These people are historians who are studying the holocaust and trying to find out what happened. They are said to deny the holocaust. They do not deny it; they are just revising by looking at the facts. They have now moved the number of Jewish deaths from the holocaust to around 1–2 million. Their reasoning is this. The 6 million figures included the death of every European Jew in the war regardless on how they died. The number included even the death of civilians from allied bombing. ... • 9. Christian Worldview Research Paper "As we evaluate the adequacy of competing worldviews, it soon becomes evident that not all of them give the same answers to life's most profound questions." (Wilkens & Sanford, 2009) A worldview is our perception or conception of the world around us and provides answers to questions like, "What part do I have to play in this world?" It is important to constantly evaluate and check your worldview to ensure that you are truly living to what you say you believe. During my examination of different worldviews and the comparison to the Christian worldview, I have come to realize how things like individualism, moral relativism, and even nationalism have come to play a part in my own worldview and I have learned the importance of constantly comparing ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I strive to keep my worldview in check with what the Bible teaches about individualism. The Bible teaches me how to value myself and the others around me, "When I claim to be the prime reality in the universe, this requires that I see others either as a tool for maintaining my status or as a competitor for my place at the center." (Wilkens & Sanford, 2009) However, Jesus taught us the value of human life when he commanded us, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Mark 12:31) Jesus was teaching against an individualistic worldview and showing that everyone is to be valued the same and should be loved just as much as we love ourselves. This Christian worldview teaches us to find our value in God who is the real prime reality. Truly looking at individualism and examining what I believed about myself and the others around me taught me to look at people differently. I will admit that at times I saw other people as tools for business or just customers who come to my place of work. • 11. Pros And Cons Of Animal Testing: Ethical Views Ethical Views on Animal Testing One of my best friends is not human; he is a dog. My family and I consider him to be part of us because Donnie is a cute and unique individual. He is a dog, but he acts like a cat. He sleeps all day, and when a person tries to cuddle him he squirms off. When he wants to, he will lay next to a person and stay there. Donnie is so cute; I love him. Although, my love for animals is not limited. In fact, I find every animal fascinating: elephants are majestic, bald eagles are fierce, and koi goldfishes are elegant. When animals are needlessly harmed, it breaks my heart. As an example, elephants are being hunted for their tusks as a way to make money. It is sickening to see a majestic animal die. "All procedures, even those classified as 'mild,' have the potential to cause the animals physical as well as psychological distress and suffering. Often the procedures can cause a great deal of suffering" (Humane Society International, 2017). Humane Society International (2017) also listed out common procedures used in animal testing: forced chemical exposure in toxicity testing, exposure to diseases, genetic manipulation, ear–notching, tail–clipping, periods of physical restraint, food and water deprivation, surgical procedures, infliction of pain to study its effects, behavioural experiments designed to cause distress, and killing by carbon dioxide asphyxiation, neck–breaking, decapitation, and other means. Not to mention, all of these procedures are cruel, and the animals can feel pain that has been inflicted upon it. In fact, a majority of these procedures is considered animal cruelty. According to the NDAA (2016), animal cruelty constitutes as "physical harm or killing," and animal neglect is considered when failure to provide food and water. Practically all of the common procedures fit into these categories. Despite how animal testing aligns with animal cruelty, almost all state laws exempts animals in research (NDAA, 2016). So, it continues. Another negative aspect is how animal testing is unreliable; Humane ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 13. Biblical Worldview Research Paper A biblical worldview has many characteristics. It mainly differs from the other worldviews in its view of a creator and what happens to us when we die. According to Romans 1:20 since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made even His eternal power and Godhead. This worldview centers on a loving protecting creator who is here to guide us in our daily lives. God showed himself to us through his own written word. Prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:21) this scripture shows us that the bible writers wrote not their own words but those of God. Most major worldviews say that it is impossible to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is a similar worldview as existentialism because it is based in evolution also. It trusts science to explain and investigate things. It doesn't believe in a creator as a maker of the universe. It does not believe in a spirit realm. According to naturalism we are animals who have developed a higher level of reason self consciousness and our own conscious. They believed we have not tapped our full potential. Also they derive meaning form developing. They think that we can always improve. That's why science is useful to them. The hope for the future is bleak also. When you die according this worldview your personality and soul is forever terminated at death. There will be total extinction. Naturalism is the understanding that there is a solitary, regular world as appeared by science, and that we are totally incorporated into it. Naturalism holds that all that we are and do is associated with whatever is left of the world and gotten from conditions that go before us and encompass us. Each of us is an unfurling normal process, and each part of that procedure is created, and is a cause itself. So we are completely brought about animals, and seeing exactly how we are created gives us power and control, while empowering empathy and modesty. No human is perfect, and all humans err. Therefore we should understand that to err is only human, and to forgive is divine. The ethical views expressed in the renowned bestseller novel, Lord of the Flies, brings into perspective the ever changing external and internal conflict that lies within each of us. None of us can quite identify with and comprehend what is passing through another 's mind, but we must make allowances for their doubting too. An example of this would be found on page 19, after Ralph is nominated chief and the author states that even the choir applauded; and the freckles on Jack 's face, ... For example, this novel demonstrates that the mistakes made by the children, added to the list of growing controversies that played a major part in the miscellaneous distortions of the society, as a whole. Therefore it is without doubt wise to think before you act, and consult all you options before diving headfirst into something that will cause a lot of trouble in the long run. I would have been more appropriate if Ralph had not allowed Jack to become such a close friend of his, as I feel that it helped spark the malicious contempt that Jack had possessed. This was first displayed on page 19, where Ralph commanded Jack to be the head of the hunters. Our nature will always get the better of us and destroy us. Hence, we should be able to differentiate between right and wrong. It is understandable that sometimes, this might not always be the case. The person involved might be unable to decide things for themselves or be swayed by a very strong point of view or opinion. On page 166, Jack leads a new tribe, and questions the others who want to join the tribe. This caused chaos, as the group of boys that were once bound together in one tribe, were deserting Ralph. After all, united we stand, divided we fall. Without agreeing on absolutely everything, we will succumb to failure. This study examines my personal views of moral behavior and Christian World View as it relates to my expectation of what a manager in a leadership position should posses and why. Growing up in a African–American Baptist church and ultimately landing in a diverse Christian Church has shaped my life and viewpoint when it comes to values and beliefs. There are four major ethical topics we have discussed in the course, in this reflection I will examine the three I see most fitting for this reflection. The three are utilitarianism, moral rights and the Theory of Justice. Utilitarianism is a view in which decisions are based on majority. This view acknowledges your rights as a human being, but there is a downside to this view. All fundamental rights are not universal. I may not agree that a right is given to someone freely and therefore disagree with you on your moral and ethical view even though we both consider ourselves having a morally right approach. Theory of Justice is also referred to as the legal rule. This ethical decision is focused on the choice that treats people fairly according to the legal system and the standards of law. This theory states that ethical decisions involve procedural justice as well as consistency in punishment and in processing decisions. The major issue with this ethical theory of decision making is that it is difficult to objectively decide what fair rules and procedures are going to be and who gets to decide these laws as well. This theory of ethics tends to be the most politically impacted. While some states use capital punishment others may not. Is it unethical to sentence execution to someone based on location of law? The Individualism view focuses on the concept that society as a whole will be better off if each individual strives to fulfill their own self– interests (Schermerhorn & Bachrach, 2015). This view has the disadvantage of being focused on the individual rather than society as a whole. Although individual happiness and self–fulfillment are important, does society truly benefit from an individualistic view? In my opinion, this concept is open to basic human nature and the need for individuals to, when given the opportunity, focus only on themselves and the benefit they can gain. Unfortunately, this is a common theme in today's society. In my work experience, I have frequently been exposed to individuals that have nothing in mind but focus on how the system can benefit them, with little regard for the greater organization. In most cases, I have ultimately witnessed these individuals and their intentions exposed either formally or informally. Although the fact of abortion has been examined through it?s scientific and religious side, in this assignment we will try and examine abortion from an ethical point of view. According to some studies, having a baby appears to decrease the happiness in a relationship – even in those cases where the pregnancy is desired. But again, this need not be considered too much, it is not a dominant consideration. As is the case with many issues in a utilitarian system, the rightness or wrongness of the act in question turns mainly not on the effects of the act on the agent, nor on the beings directly affected by the act, but on the less direct effects on the community at large. That means that the issue of abortion actually becomes one of the desirability of increasing or decreasing the population. Given that there must be some population size that can be regarded as the ?perfect? size, if we are allowed to place it this way for a society, it is clear that Utility will ban new births above this amount while below this population size Utility will prescribe reproduction. Meier et.al (1998) in his national survey of physician assisted suicide and euthanasia in the US; found that even when PAS is not legalized, there have been requests to hasten death in some situations. 6. A lot of those supporting PAS argue that it helps cut down on the health care costs. With the last report showing $ 170 billion spent on the last six months of one's life, its clear health care is at its peak when it comes to cost. Aggressive treatments as listed above are being done unnecessary which creates the spike in health care. Hamlon & Marker (2010) argued that since there was an emphasis on health care providers to contain costs, euthanasia or PAS could become a means of cost containment. 7. Hill's leadership ethics are based on the changeless character of God If we behave in a way consistent with God's character we are behaving ethically (Hill, 2008). On the other hand, Badaracco's leadership ethics are based on doing what is right for each situation. In his view the right answer depends upon the participants in the situation and how much power, or political capital, you have as the leader compared to the others involved. If you have more power you may be able to opt for a riskier, higher impact decision. Less power should lead you to consider the risk that decision has to your reputation and career rather. This could lead you to take options and make decisions which may not fit into what you feel is entirely the right thing to do. If decision making is based on the situation and the players involved, the leaders decision making could be seen as erratic and inconsistent overtime. The works of Kant stand out among the philosophical treatises on ethics. Kant's ethics in many ways was the pinnacle of moral philosophy of modern times. Nielsen considered that philosophy is related to practical matters. Philosophy thinking includes abstract theorizing and practical action. One of the merits of Kant is that he separated the questions of the existence of God, the soul, freedom – issues of theoretical reason – from the question of practical reason: what should I do? Practical philosophy of Kant has had a huge impact on the next generations of philosophers. Current research of Kantian ethics is an attempt to give new ways of rethinking and new approaches for Reconstruction of critical ethics. Critical Kantian ethics as its starting point is the recognition of the practice, which is embodied with rational human behaviour. Just as theoretical philosophy clarifies the question of the possibility of truth and scientific knowledge, all practical philosophy is devoted to human practice, and consideration of the ratio of real freedom and the moral law is one of the major problems of understanding the Kantian practical philosophy. According to Kant, the unity of the critical philosophy with Kant's moral philosophy should be found in the fundamental situation of human in the world and his understanding of the unity of knowledge and to push the boundaries of behaviour. Indeed, the moral behaviour requires not only awareness of the obligation, but also a practical accomplishment. In most forms of media today there is a main point that the viewer is observing. 2–D perspective video creators are able to change perspectives of how the viewer sees the media, but with 360 degrees the viewer may not see it in the same way the original creator intended. Ethical Relativism In The Prescriptive View Ethical Relativism in ethics is the belief that nothing is objectively right or wrong and that the definition of right or wrong depends on the prevailing view of a particular individual culture or historical period (www.dictionary.com). Ethical Relativism in the prescriptive view is: 1. Different groups of people ought to have different ethical standards for evaluating acts of right or wrong. 2. These different beliefs are true in their respective societies and 3. These different beliefs are not instances of a basic moral principle (philosophy.lander.edu). There have also been some criticisms of ethical relativism. Some people have had a numeral of complaints against this. The point that ethical relativism is correct it would mean that even the most ridiculous practices such as slavery and abuse of women would be "right" if they were looked at by the standards of society. Relativism would deprive people of means of rising morals objectives against bad social customs provided they are approved by ways of the society. • 57. A Worldview Research Paper A Worldview is formed depending on a variety of things. It refers to how one approaches life issues from a basis formed by religion, beliefs or culture. Culture forms the first foundation in the formation of a worldview. It exists in the pride of being a society, where it defines the requirements for one to fit in. Deviation from a cultural ground leads to separation from those who practice it. Religion also plays a vital role in the acquisition of a worldview. Given that each unique religion has its moral direction and selected ethical choices based on the existence of a superior deity or the lack of it thereof. Just like culture, religions demand compliance with the rules they set down regarding different life situations (van der Walt, 2001). ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 59. Ethical Views On Abortion An ethical debate that I have seen play out over the years is abortion. Abortion is the removal of a fertilized egg from the uterus. This falls under issues with religion and womens rights. There are many different debates and point of views people have on this issue. Some agree with this, others do not. I personally agree with abortion. Abortion should be a woman's choice to carry out with or not. Personally I have never had one and wouldn't consider one for myself, but I do know people who have had one. I don't think any less of them. I think that it is a painful decision to make, as well as a responsible one to make. With that being said, abortions should not be treated like birth control."The availability of effective contraceptives, along with medically safe, legally sanctioned abortion as a backup, has allowed sexually active heterosexual women and their partners ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... So if that were to happen and one was not mentally, physically, emotionally, or even financially ready for a baby, abortion is an option. There are pregnancy crisis centers , that generally try to persuade woman to keep the pregnancy going. Pregnancy crisis centers could be of use to a woman so I don't disagree with those. But there are also abortion clinic's when a woman's mind is made up. What is comes down to is this should be a woman's choice. Sometimes a woman can fall pregnant and not know they have an underlying condition that could harm them or their unborn baby, so having the option for abortion can help save one or two people's lives. As I do agree with abortion, I also agree with sexual education. Sex is a normal act that humans perform, no one should be shamed for it. But both woman and men should make sure they're protected. There are many different birth control methods out there, also some places offer free birth control / condoms. Also the Plan B is also another option. Many people call this the abortion pill. ... • 61. Christian Worldview Research Paper A Christian worldview is defined as a point of view that is seen in a Christian perspective. We see life in the view of Christianity and live a Christ–like life with Jesus at the center of it. In the lecture notes, we described a Christian worldview as, "a body of assumption that deals with the nature of reality, the organization of the universe, the ends and purpose of human life, values, norms, and differentiation between good and evil, right and wrong" (Casarez). It helps, Christians, understand the rights and wrongs of the world we live in, and allows us to have a path that should be walked as Jesus walked his path. There has been talks about new media and how they need to portray both sides of the stories because most media outlets portray their side of things to make it look like they are right in the sense of religious and secular people. Most people accept the theory of evolution while the Bible denies any sense of evolution. Evolutionist believe that forms of life was created through the process of natural selection, while Christians believe that life was formed through God. In the book, Keller lists different models that people believe and partake in including: conflict model, independence model, and central model. People who think the conflict model is true, believe that Genesis chapter 1 teaches that God created all forms of life within twenty–four hours thousands of years ago. Independent model says that God was the main creator in the beginning world and after that, natural causes took over which created earth. Lastly, the central model says that God created some life and then directed natural selection to develop the more complex of life. Keller says, "his miracles are not just proof that he has power but also wonderful foretastes of what he is going to do with that power. Jesus's miracles are not just a challenge to our minds, but a promise to our hearts, that the world we want is coming" (Keller, 99). I believe in the Bible and that God created the world within His own hands. I believe in the Bible and the way that everything happened. Through this scripture, it has been said that heavens and earth were created exactly the way God intended it to be, and it was not created out of a cosmic ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 63. Differences Between Reality And Reality In today's society, worldviews are shaped by the cultural and ethical differences between different types of people. Cultural differences can be very complex but can also establish the basis for who people are and how they live their lives. One major complexity that can be associated with worldviews is the idea of a surface–level behavior with deep–level assumptions. This idea is the thought of many people acting just like everyone else around them, trying to fit in with society but have a deeper understanding for life and what reality is. Throughout chapter 2, Kraft discusses the differences between REALITY and reality, referring to the deeper understanding of life and understanding what is true and right. Compared to seeing the surface value of everything in life and "looking through filters" and only seeing what society and media has to offer. In today's world people focus only on the materialistic view of life and focus on money and wealth, which produces adults in society that know how to think but not how to live life. Yet every day, people encounter REALITY but do not understand and often shy away from what is not normal to us. People in today's society are afraid to learn new things, society focuses on competition and even encourages it, and it challenges boys to question men and businesses to fight businesses which leads to suffering society. The worldview of today's society is solely based off of what media and technology teach us, yet people today are blinded by ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 65. Milton Friedman's Views on Business and Ethical Consideration Question 1: In the 1960s, Milton Friedman said that the purpose of business was to increase shareholder return and that issues of ethics were not the concern of any business – the law should be complied with, morality should be strived for, but ethical consideration had no place in the business environment. Ø Consider the multiple publics (employees, suppliers, consumers, communities, and shareholders for example) that are involved in all business transactions. Ø Explain why ethical consideration IS appropriate and required when conducting business in the 21rst century. Ø Give some specific examples of ethical issues that confront businesses and how these might be addressed. Answer 1: While doing some research about Friedman's ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I believe that companies are responsible to honor their promises and show their good manners to the society, it is very important to look good in front of the world as an ethical company with good manners. Ethical consideration is required when conducting business in the 21st century for many reasons. First of all, there is nothing wrong from being ethical, in the contrary you will gain people's trust and chances for your company to be more reputable are much higher. When considering ethical issues, we have to consider things in a global prospective, because what may be perfectly right for one nation may be looked in a different way from a different nation. So, people have to be very careful when setting ethical standards, and sometimes businesses are forced to follow morals of another country. Paying attention to details is the key to success, and I have noticed this while living in Qatar, how some of the global companies have changed TV advertisements and they have adopted them to Qatari culture. For example when they are presenting a new softener for clothes they may use a model wearing hijab (a veil to cover female's hair) and this is very appreciated in Muslim countries and makes them buy that product instead of another products using a normal model. With other words, this would not be an unethical situation back in the States but in the other hand it touches the moral of a different nation and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Impact Of 3d Printing On An Ethical Point Of View The advancements of 3D printing technology within society is advancing at such a speed The research within this assignment will focus on the conflict surrounding 3D printing (bioprinting) artificial organs with stem cells based on an ethical point of view. Throughout numerous articles, two key conflicts are expressed towards the public. The first conflict consists of the question of which stem cells will be used to create the organs. The second conflict elaborates on the possibility of creating organs that will enhance our natural capabilities as humans. On January 29 2014, a few years after the publication of the science papers, the Gartner company published a press release that ignited the ethical conflict of 3D printing organs. Gartner Inc. quotes Pete Basiliere's (research vice president for Gartner Inc.) statement within the press release "[w]hat happens when complex 'enhanced ' organs involving nonhuman cells are made?" This indicates that the first reference to the conflict is the question of what will occur when enhanced organ are made out of non–human cells. On that same day three other mass media outlets (The Telegraph, IBT and Computerworld) published articles that referenced Gartner's press release. It is important to note that these articles all quote what Basiliere said within the press release. This indicates that they used Gartner Inc.'s press release as a primary source of information for their own articles. The article from The Telegraph states, "3D printing 's ability to manufacture highly customised human organs and anatomical parts will raise inevitable ethical and moral dilemmas." The Telegraph article only states that the ability to create customized organs will raise this ethical conflict. Nothing about the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Microscopy : An Ethical Point Of View Magnification in endodontic; an ethical point of view Introduction Endodontic refers to that field of dentistry that deals with diagnosing and treating pulpal and periapical diseases as to preserve the surrounding tissue. (1) Until recently, root canal treatment therapy was traditionally performed using tactile sensation of the clinician and the root canal system could only be seen on a two–dimensional radiograph. To perform an endodontic treatment regularly means to work in a dark and narrowed place, and little bit of millimeters may decide the outcome of therapy, as it relays on the dentist knowledge and expertise many results were achieved by chance. • 71. The Sweatshop Issues From Ethical Theories Views Introduction Consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the vast range of goods produced overseas and the often horrifying conditions under which workers labored to produce them. College students, activists, and certain scholars were quick to condemn "Sweatshops" and the multinational companies (MNC's) that used them. However, this initial moral condemnation was based more on a natural sense of horror than moral reasoning, and critics often demonstrated a lack of sensitivity to both the underlying economic conditions that gave rise to the sweatshop phenomenon and to the beneficial consequences of sweatshops for both their employees and the broader economies in which they functioned. As a result, many economists quickly leapt to the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... When economic growth, it creates more jobs opportunities which will cause the labour market to tighten, which in turn will force MNCs to improve working conditions in order to attract workers. Bear in mind, individuals who have no jobs at all are working on alternative jobs which are more hazardous and exploitative than sweatshops. For example, when Child Labor Deterrence Act (US) introduced, there were about 50,000 Bangladeshi children dismissed from garment industry jobs and many of them took up stone–crushing, street hustling or even prostitution. In this sense, the working conditions are far worse than the sweatshops. Jeffrey Sachs also claimed that international trade will, in the long run, make all parties better off. As a result of improving the working conditions, MNCs could have been successfully pursuing ethical branding and shifted out the demand curve for their products which in turn it will bolster the economic expansion and reduce unemployment rate. At the same time, Maitland does not accept the view that sweatshops pay unconscionable wages, or that they impoverish local workers and widen the gap between rich and poor. He argued that interfering with the market can have terrible results and not only paying market wages in developing countries is morally permissible but also that it may be morally wrong for companies to pay wages that exceed market levels. ... • 73. Ethical Views On Abortion Do you believe in abortion? Well this question can have multiple answers according to your ethical beliefs and religion. Abortion is one of the most fiercely discussed ethical problems in the recent decades in America. Abortion which can be defined as, the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy, is an old, but living topic for debate. It has been argued that the world remains divided between legalizing abortion or not. Since the Supreme Court handed down its 1973 decisions in Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, states have constructed a lattice work of abortion law, codifying, regulating and limiting whether, when and under what circumstances a woman may obtain an abortion. Since abortion was legalized in 1973, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... All schools of islam, regard abortion as wrong or Hiram (prohibited). In the Qur'an or Torah it does not specifically mention abortion, but explicate the creation of a human life and the consequences of it. " Whosever has spared the life of a soul, it is as though he has spared the life of all people. Whoever has killed a soul, it is as though he has murdered all of mankind."(Qur'an) In the religion of Islam, a child should not be killed so they can support and provide the parents after retiring. The parents will fear from lack of support if a child is killed. "Kill not your offspring for fear of poverty; it is we who provide for them and for you. Surely, killing them is a great sin" (Qur'an). Depending on what islamic school you are attending and learning from, changes the way of belief and vision. Some schools are more accepting of abortion than others, although other schools believe there are more laws that should be followed involving abortion. Based on conceivable interpretation of the Holy Qur'an and teachings of the prophet, the different views one may have on the killing of a fetus. Islam does not at all believe that a woman has full authority over her unborn child as part of her body. "No one, not even the parents, has the right to make decision about his life, unless its presence threatens the life of the mother." (Aramesh) The parents have no say on whether or not the baby can live unless the mother is in medical assistance caused by the unborn baby, which is also believed in Judaism. In both Islam and Judaism an abortion is permissible with the consent of both parents up to day 40; it is no longer allowed after that day.Under Islam, abortions are legal during the first 40 days of pregnancy, because the prophet Muhammad said that a newly–formed fetus ... According to the lecture, "In a CWV ethics are grounded in absolute and universal moral principles that have been given by God. In modern culture, moral standards are subjective and based upon personal preference" (Lecture 16). In this essay a case study will be given and solutions to the dilemma will be given from two different worldviews. The ethical dilemma I have chosen to write about is abortion. I will first give the Christian worldviews opinion for this dilemma then I will give a naturalists worldview opinion. Richard say it is ultimately her choice but he suggests that she stops the suffering before it starts. Core Beliefs The core beliefs that would be relevant to this situation from a Christian worldview are you shall not kill and God has a reason for all things. All life is precious. God created all things and He creates them to His divine plan. God has a plan for that child even though he or she will have Down syndrome. God says killing is wrong in the Ten Commandments and abortion is the same as killing someone. Resolution From a Christian worldview the solution would be to have the baby not and abortion. Abortion is wrong in the eyes of God because it is an act of murder. All life is precious and when a women has an abortion she is destroying God's perfect creation. That child is perfect in God's eyes even with the Down syndrome. God has a will for that child. Evaluation If Susan decides to have the baby she will most probably have to quit her job and stay at home with the child for the rest of the child's life. She will have to devote herself to the baby and always be there for the child. According to Richard Dawkins, "you would probably be condemning yourself as a mother (or yourselves as a couple) to a lifetime of caring for an adult with the needs of a child. • 77. The Ethical Views Of Ethics There are different legal right that govern our attitude and behavior in our society. In regards to virtue ethic is seemed to be too complex for many of us to bear because of the way it was introduced to our societies. There are laws that we have to follow, but there is a difference between laws and ethics. There are a lot of professional and non–professional levels of behaviors that met up with their target and achievement, but we use ethic to make our moral decisions in everyday life. Throughout this course I have learned about different philosophers and their views about virtue ethics, which many have similarities and each have adequate differences in regards to their prospective on human ethical behavior's, that make their ideas stronger. Some of which I agree and disagree with. Their contrasting opinions on ethical understanding is because they cite the use of their ethical views in different ways and their aim for society understanding of ethics. When I compare the philosopher's ethical believes, it is almost impossible to have a universal definition of what ethics are, the only way to understand ethics is in our day to day practice. The philosopher views I admired throughout this course is Aristotle. Concerning his ideas on "Virtue Ethics", he concentrates upon the concepts of virtue and happiness. This primarily deals with the way in which a person should live. This has puzzled the philosophers from the beginning of time, but there are many contrasting ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
