Plan For Creating A Treatment Plan
Transaction #4 Client: Yeah, I'm getting too old for this. I just want to get a little apartment or a room and a job to keep me going. I need my own
place where I can just be alone with no one to bother me. Worker: I hear you. But, what's the most important thing right now? What's your plan?
Skill: Maintaining a focus on the goals. Reading the client: Is this guy going to help me get a room for me to rent? I keep insisting that that's what
a need hoping that he'll offer me some help with that. Reading myself: I'm feeling more confident that we can get on with the task of creating this
treatment plan. I need to keep asking John specific questions about his plan of action or simply guide him in the process of coming up with ideas for
setting goals and reaching for them. Evaluation: Staying on track with creating a treatment plan cannot be a rigid task. I need to stay open to being
flexible and realize that if John is not ready to come up with specific plans for his post–detox work on recovery then perhaps this is not the time to do
that. Another try: I reflect on my questions and say something like: John, what do you suppose would be the consequences of your continued substance
abuse? How willing are you to make changes to move in another direction? New skill: Reframing Transaction #5 Client: I need to get through this
detox and then, on Monday, I'm supposed to go to residential treatment. They wouldn't allow me in until I detoxed. But hey, once I get

Nazca Research Paper
Nazca Traveling somewhere new and gaining new experiences is exceedingly beneficial. Challenging yourself, expanding your perspective, and
learning about new cultures are just some of the benefits. If I could travel anywhere in the world where would I go? Somewhere like the beach or
the mountains? The one place I would choose to visit is the town of Nazca. This town is specifically known for The Nazca Lines. The Nazca lines
are large geoglyphs created by removing large amounts of rock and dirt, located in the Peruvian Desert within southern Peru. These lines are
believed to be created by the Nazca tribe somewhere between 500 BC and 500 AD. the lines were discovered by Peruvian archaeologist Toribio Mejia
Xesspe in 1927. The nazca lines depict creatures such as fish, birds, and other animals. They are said to be made up over 800 straight lines, 300
geometric designs. Most of the lines are between 10 to 30 cm deep.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
According to some scientist and conspiracist these lines were created to attract aliens. Others believe it was a monument to their gods. However the
biggest mystery is how the Nazca people were able to create such precise geoglyphs without an aerial view. The largest figure stretches about 200
meters long. There are some scholars who believe that the Nazca Lines is one of the earliest examples of applied geometry. Tens of thousands of
visitors vacation there every year. Other than the preeminent architectural sites another entrancing point is the Nazca Channels. The ancient Nazca
people created an underground aqueduct system irrigates the drylands. However, undeterred by this harsh climate the Nazcas, aided by the aqueducts
were able to grow cotton fields, corn, beans, potatoes, and numerous fruits. For the Nazcas when it came to pottery and textiles they were ahead of their

This Is Home "Jack, will you watch where you're driving? You almost hit the guardrail," Gwen said, holding tight to her seat. Jack put his foot on
the brake and the car slowly drifted down to fifty miles per hour. He hadn't been focused on driving. His mind was set on the conference he had in
New York in two days. It was a very important meeting and he had to be on the top of his game. Jack had worked as a stockbroker for the past
eight years and was quite good at his job. In fact, he was the top account manager at the company he worked with. Because of this, he was always
traveling, going to various business meetings, visiting various clients, and buying and selling stocks throughout the U.S. Gwen, his wife,
frequently accompanied him on these trips. The two had recently gotten married, but had to postpone their honeymoon in Guam because Jack had
to go to New York for a business meeting. Ever since they were engaged, Jack and Gwen were always traveling. Gwen knew it was to be expected,
this was Jack's job after all, but she wished she could spend more time with her husband. Jack was frustrated by it as well, even more so than Gwen.
He wanted dearly to spend every minute with her, but time was at the essence, and stocks didn't sell themselves. Gwen could see that Jack was
flustered and couldn't help but worry what was upsetting him. "Jack," Gwen said quietly. "Tell me what's wrong, please?" Jack slumped forward in

Why I M Going To College
After high school, countless students are daunted to take the big leap to go to college. Upon entrance, they are faced with another vast decision:
"What is your major going to be?" It is at this moment that all of the prospecting pathways come into play. The student has a narrowed list in mind, and
they are confronted with a choice of money or passion. Often times your genuine interests will not bring in as much cash as you'd originally hoped, so
you settle for a route to bring in the most wealth. This is where people make the largest mistake, they sell out their passions for a paycheck. Let's face it,
either way you are going to school. Generally, you won't be able to maintain a decent income unless you have the education to back it. While some may
be fortunate enough to have a passion that pays, or simply have been born into money, several are not. There will be those select few who do not need
to concern themselves about changing their majors numerous times a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
It isn't easy pretending to love what you're studying. You may be able to work diligently and study as much as you need, but if you're not attentive
in what you are studying, it will reflect in your work. There are entirely too many people who enter a career field simply for the pay. They don't
really care about what they are doing; it is all about the paycheck. It is difficult for people to have to make the decision between money and their
passions. Culture tells you that you have to have money to be happy, so that is what we strive for the most. It is tremendously distressing to feel as
though you cannot be content with your life unless you have an underlying wealth. At the age most students are, their brains are so malleable to
societal standards that they tend to crack under the pressure. It is nearly unbearable to feel as though you have no choice in your own

without you. Do you remember the day we met? I do. You looked at me, and it was like I had never been looked at by anyone before. It was as if I had
gone my entire life unseen, invisible. I loved the way you looked at me. I don 't know what you thought, or what type of girl you saw, but I liked

Why Travelling Is My Passion
"Traveling – it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller." – Ibn Battuta. My passion is learning about life through traveling and exploring
new things. It excites me when I visit new places, learn different cultures, and see other people live a life that is different from mine. I just love to
travel because it makes me realize that the world is so beautiful and there is so much to admire and treasure. Furthermore, i love the feeling I get
when I explore new ideas, histories, beliefs, and sceneries. It not only increases my knowledge, but also helps me overcome problems that I am
dealing with. I get to experience life's problems, pleasures, and rise above my personal bubble to become a better person through exploring new
cultures. Travelling is my passion because it's an activity that I am not afraid of pursuing. I learn more about myself and expand my horizons every

Travelling As A Common Hobby
How Travel has Evolved from Necessity to Pleasure People travel to various destinations for different reasons, but the ultimate goal of most
travelers, is to explore the sites of interests that they may not have seen before. Although almost everyone travels on a daily basis to go to their
offices, businesses, work, or school, the trends indicate that travelling for pleasure has become a common hobby (Pooley). Travelling has evolved
in many aspects, including the reasons for travelling and efficiency with which people can travel from one location to another. In this paper, the
meaning of travelling to different people, changes in travelling for America ns over the years, and the way travelling for leisure came about will
be discussed. Travelling means different things to different people. For example, there is a group of travelers that is comprised of people who
lead a nomadic lifestyle. These people enjoy diversity and they are likely to consider travelling as a way of life (Dunn). Another category of
travelers is a group of people who work away from their relatives. This group of people often travels upcountry, not just to meet their relatives, but
also to e1tjoy the rural environment. In addition, the working class is likely to take vacations and travel to new places. They consider travelling as an
opportunity to take a break from work, and enjoy an environment that is different from their routine and work settings. Moreover, there are some
people who work in

A Short Story : The Story Of The Story?
"Oppa, why are you ignoring me? I didn't do anything wrong. It was Sunmi who bumped into me." Minhee pouted as she childishly defended herself.
Luhan rubbed his temples in annoyance. Weeks had past and Minhee was less annoying... or so he thought. She was arguing on how you stepped on
her shoe and it gave her the right to push you. You were at the library with Hyorin and you were tip–toeing while taking a book. It was too high and
you stumbled back. You accidentally stepped at the foot of the person behind you. Unluckily, it was Minhee. She glared at you and pushed you out
of her way causing you to fall on the floor. You just watched her with mouth agape in shock as she went into the dark corner of the library to do
God knows what. Did I forget to mention she transferred at Daesan High? Yeah, she did and she enrolled at the same class as you and Luhan.
"That doesn't mean you can push her like that! She didn't even step on your foot on purpose!" Luhan growled at her and students were beginning to
crowd at the scene. You were standing behind Luhan while holding his arm. "Luhan, stop. She's a girl and you're causing too much scene now," you
whispered at him and he looked at you with the same look on his eyes while looking at Minhee. You flinched at his glare and he softened when he
saw how scared you were. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to look at you like that." He put an arm around your shoulder and walked away from the scene.
"Last warning, Minhee. One more strike and you're out.

Disadvantages Of Traveling The World
Paris, France for two months, Rome, Italy for three weeks and, Accra, Ghana for one year sounds like the perfect life for most millennials. Traveling
the world in addition to experiencing different cultures is the ideal life to live in the eyes of the youth. Simple yet paralyzing situations such as
money problems can result in people staying where they are. Luckily there are jobs where we can make a living off of our dreams. Being an au pair,
traveling nurse, or graphic designers balances the situation of money and a way of travel. These jobs are also very diverse in terms of the working
field. With advantages comes disadvantages each different for every job. Au pairs are not common in the United States but it is one of the best
ways to travel, learn a new language, and get money all at the same time. To apply for this job the applicant must be single, between the ages of 18
and 30, no children, good English skills, graduate of secondary school, and no criminal record (Au Pair World 1). Being an au pair is similar to
being a nanny but the age requirements are different. Au pairs are usually admitted into a host family in France. The host family will provide shelter,
food, and all the basic needs for survival and in return he or she will babysit the host parents' children. During the weekends the au pair is allowed to
roam around the city and explore their culture. Another benefit to being an au pair through a program connected with au pair services, workers have
the opportunity to learn another language during their twelve month stay (Au Pair World 3). But on the contrary, there has been reports of au pairs
abused during their stay making this job a blessing but a possible curse. If looking after a strangers doesn't raise the hair behind your neck maybe
helping children across the world does. Nurses are one of the most respected professions according to Forbes Magazine (2). They help nurture people
back health. Traveling nurses make around forty dollars per hour (Travel Nursing 3). This rate includes actual work hours in the hospital, travel
reimbursement, and money for groceries. Contracts normally lasts twelve weeks but if a nurse likes their current location, he or she can extend the

Death Be Not Proud By John Donne
In the poem "Death be not proud," by John Donne the poet personifies death as a person not worthy of the respect and feat that he receives. From the
words used in the poem, the reader gets the idea that it was written a long time ago, that being said it does not take away from the meaning nor is it
hard to understand what they mean since the poet uses them in the literal meaning. The poem constructed in a way that is looks and sounds as the
though the speaker is talking to Death in person. It sounds as though the speaker pities death, and the role that he plays in life. The speaker almost goes
as far as to taunt death saying, "Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me." (4) He obviously does not fear death, nor does he think others ... Show

The speaker comes off a masochist thinking that the only way he could feel the love of God it through pain. So that speaker can be in the image he
believes God wants him, the speaker wants God to, "break, blow, burn, and make me new." The speaker uses a metaphor to compare his heart to that
of a town under the rule of another:
I, like an usurp'd town, to another due,
Labour to admit you, but O, to no end.
Reason, your viceroy in me, me should defend,
But is captived, and proves weak or untrue
The speaker believes that in his heart lies another even though he only wants God to be there. The reason he gives is that God's hold on him is to
weak and hard to maintain It is almost as if the speaker is saying if fear of God is not instilled in him, he will forever waver in his faith, which ties
back into the initial thought of wanting to be built new. His heart is forever tied to sin:
Yet dearly I love you, and would be loved fain,
But am betroth'd unto your enemy ;
Divorce me, untie, or break that knot again
The speaker loves God a lot but says that he is married to God's enemy, which can mean sin or anything thought of to be against God's wishes. The
only way to be with Him is for God the break the ties between the speaker and the darkness inside his heart. The reader may find it funny that the
speaker asks God to, "divorce" him for

The College Of Design At Iowa State University
I created a poster to show how the sculpture, "Sequence" represents the College of Design. To show this, I decided to make the poster about the
College of Design at Iowa State University. The audience of this poster is the students because they are the people that would be applying to be a
design student. To catch the attention of students, I thought a poster would work better so when they walk by throughout a busy day they will
notice it. I also wanted the poster to be landscape or more horizontal because the sculpture is the largest item on the poster and would make it more
convenient. This poster's purpose is to encourage students to apply to the College of Design. I chose the title, "Do You Have Qualities of a Design
Student?" because I wanted to connect to the students on campus. I also put this at the top of the page so students see this first. This would make
them continue to read the poster until they hit the bottom of the page which states, "Apply to the College of Design Today!". This makes them leave
the poster with a clear purpose which is to apply to the design program. I also wanted to include the academic departments of the College of Design. I
included that on the left side of the page so it isn't distracting, but still available for students to read. This informs students what programs the College
of Design provides. The sculpture is in the center of the poster because this reflects the students and faculty in the College of Design. This is a large

An Essay About Travelling
I try to get away as often as possible because travelling is the most awesome thing to do in this world. Travel is a powerful tool for personality
development. It can teach us a lot about other countries and about ourselves. You can experience the happiest moments through your limited travels.
Travelling introduces us with several ups and downs of life.
If you are less fortunate to travel, you might feel little strange about what I am discussing. How can travel help me know the place I already belong?
Well we all take things for granted to a certain limit, which includes things like electricity, transport, food, water and safety. Travelling to a country
where these basic things are unavailable will open your eyes.
If you visit places where people are struggling for basic necessities of life you will realize how much you took things for granted. Comparing yourself
with those people will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
I wanted to learn a lot about that language but I was surprised, I learnt things about myself. Travelling helps a lot to understand yourself better. We live
in a busy routine life, which makes it difficult to know about ourselves. It is necessary to take time in looking at yourself and understand your strengths
and weaknesses.
Once you step into a new environment you will be surprised to notice things about yourself, you may find that you are more confident and open
minded, or more extrovert or shy than you have ever thought. In my case I have learnt that I am more impulsive and knowing this has helped me a lot
in developing my personality.
Traveling not only helps us in realizing our own problems but it also helps us to deal with problems while travelling which helps in building our
confidence level. It makes us try new things that we don't usually do in our daily lives. It helps us to overcome our fears. Travelling makes us happy
and enjoy life for what it is and not makes us sad for what it is

Grimm Godfather Death
The authors Jacob and Wilhem Grimm let the readers imagine real–life situations that people believe they face every day. The metaphor that they use is
God, Satan and Death; these are all things that we are faced with in our daily lives. The story "Godfather Death" is told in 3rd person omniscient.
Whereas, this story comes down to choices, these choices determine their fate. The father has 12 children that he can hardly feed and provide for,
so the man is out in the street searching for the right person to be his 13th child godfather. The man was approached by GOD, "I do not wish to
have you for a godfather," said the man. "You give to the rich, and let the poor starve." The man was approached by Satan, "Then I do not wish to
have you for a godfather," said the man. You deceive mankind and lead them astray." Then Death comes along, "I am Death, who makes everyone
equal." "You are the right one. You take away the rich as well as the poor, without distinction. "I will make your child rich and famous, for he who has
me for a friend cannot fail" (13). In general, people greed, selfishness and desire for power always cause them to lose everything. "What good does love,
money, status, and power do, if a man loses his life?"
The symbol death plays a major role in the story, a young doctor making bad choices when he had been given the blueprint to success and happiness.

Cheating eventually brings about negative consequences. "Every action, there is a reaction." Even when you have been given the riches of the world,
death stills await you. There were a couple early warning flags in the story, one was when the boy father turned down God, secondly, not adhering to
death warning, there were consequences for not following the rules. The doctor personal greed and desire for a better status and power, caused him his

S: Darling, where're you? We've already been sitting here for 20 minutes. Come on! Leave your В«BabeВ» for a while. It's important!
L: Yeah, daddy, please. I'm very tired and I want to snooze (Р

agreement.
O: All right, all right. I'm here. В«BabeВ», I'll be back soon.
S: Oh, your car won't disappear unlike us. If you want to stay at home with your dear bucket (груда металлолома), I can easily
arrange it for you, and we with Susan will travel the world alone.

heroine of the film В«TitanicВ».
O: Susan Brown! You're too young for this kind of adventures and tragic love! All in all, you're not adult enough to have a boyfriend!
L: Nothing serious, it was just a little joke, but it was so laughable to see your eyes which were those of a frightened child, and by the way, daddy, I'm
14.
S: Sweetie, stop making fun of your father. We both are in anxiety about you. But let's return to travelling by ship. I'm sure that breathing a fresh air and
admiring sunsets will return a good condition to our nerves and health.
O: Darling, that's all very nice, but I'm not sure about the possible cost of such voyage. It seems to me that it'll be very high, because there're a lot of
activities for recreation and entertainment, good conveniences and so on.
L: What are you driving at, daddy? I've always thought that we have enough money to afford this. Am I right?
O: Yes, of course, but yourmother wanted to make renovations not so long ago. So I guess that too big expenses are unnecessary now.
S: Well–well–well. It's clear for me that there's smth else in what you're saying. I'm almost sure that your В«BabeВ» has gone dead on you again and
you need a repair part. Is it true?

It 's Just A Regular Day
It 's just another regular day, nothing truly interesting has happened for a little while, which is pretty disappointing but it gives me time to relax. I am
getting a feeling that it 's not going to stay like this. Something will happen, hopefully soon, besides that I 'm just talking to Honey and Mori because
Hikaru and Kaoru seemed busy, so I decided not to bother them now.
Bored, I put my elbow on the table and put my hand on my cheek to support my head.
"Where 's Tamaki–senpai? He should be here by now. I mean he 's the president of the club, he should be one of the first few people here." I asked and
yawned.

Immediately, Haruhi and Honey scrambled to the computer as Tamaki yelled at Hikaru and Kaoru. I looked at Tamaki raging to Hikaru and Kaoru
and stifled a laugh then went to see the website. I have to admit, the picture looks good. Hikaru and Kaoru have some nice photoshopping skills. The
picture is just Haruhi 's head on what it seems to be Tamaki 's body.
"Haru–chan, you are so cool!" Honey gushed while Haruhi freaks out, making me unconsciously giggle.
"It isn 't that bad, Haru–chan. It could be wors– What." I said, taking the mouse and scrolled down to check out the website, only to see another picture

"We did some extra photos too," Hikaru smirked, looking at the computer screen.
"There 's plenty of girls that are a fan of Haruhi and Sak–chan, so we decided to give them what they want," Kaoru explained, making an irk mark

The Difference Between Star Trek And Star Wars
In the long–running debate over the Star–Trek–or–Star–Wars conflict, both sides have presented rational, strong arguments on why one show is better
than the other. Star Trek argues for the storyline, while Star Wars is known typically for its visuals. However, what distinguishes the two genres from
one another is the complexity and overall meaning behind the films. What really defines and separates Star Trek from Star Wars is its pro–technology
stance, the diverse lead of characters, and the primary focus on the future of humanity
Many of Star Trek's onscreen technologies inspired real–world innovations: Captain Kirk's communicator become the modernized cell phone; Siri,
Amazon echo, and Google attempt to replicate the functions of the Enterprise's on board computer. The main weapon of Star Wars, the lightsaber, was
not invented with its future capability in mind, but rather as an analogous to
Japanese samurai swords. Star Wars is rather anti–technology and treats technology more as a prop. The impact of any technological progress on
society is never completely explored and the
Star Wars' galaxy is actually quite archaic. On the other hand, Star Trek trusts in the notion that technology will profoundly change society, and
artificial intelligence will improve the quality of lives (The Business Insider).
While advancing the technological world, Star Trek broke the barriers of diversity by showcasing multiple ethnicities among the main cast. In the
1960's, the original cast

Descriptive Essay On Beauty
I had to decorate my head with flowers and was looking exquisite. My father had prohibited me from using scented perfumes. I also did not have
slightest of interest in that. I have been brought up in nature. Where does beauty live? Is it in jewelry or clothes, in the body, in soul or in the eye of
the beholder? I was wondering.
Four chariots named Rug, Yarju, Sam and Atharva were constructed. The great father Brahma sat on Rug. Twayi and Anwikshika were sitting in Yarju.
Varta and Niti were in Atharva. Yarju was decorated with beautiful flowers. A drape of flowers covered the front of the chariot. The fourth chariot
Atharva was appearing like a bouquet of red flowers.
I sat in the chariot Sam, which was decorated with vines and fragrant flowers. In front of me, a garland of white jasmine was hanging. I was bathing
with the fragrance of the flowers. My whole body, my mind, and my soul were all filled with fragrance.
No one could see me from outside the chariot. But, I could see through the vines and thorns. I did not know the logic behind bringing me to heaven
like a prisoner. I was sitting with suppressed curiosity, but was enjoying the scenery of the Indraloka.
Even though heaven's beauty amazed me, my mind was thinking about my motherland, the earth. My playground, the elegant forest on the foothills of
the Himalayas was no way less beautiful. I could never accept that my unique mother land is less prosperous than the kingdom of Indraloka. After
attending godhood, it was natural to become a lover of luxury. Hence, the kingdom of gods was so much a show–off. If my motherland was a selfless
hermit, the heaven was a hedonist beauty. If the Indraloka was so attractive, then how attractive Indra would be?
After the discussion, I was supposed to come out of the chariot as if for a display. That time I could see without any hindrance and Indradeva could
also see me.
I remembered my first encounter with Indra. He was visiting my father in the ashram. His chariot was in the garden and I sat in it pretending to
navigate it. As soon as I saw him returning to the chariot, I got scared. I slipped and fell while descending from the chariot and twisted my feet. I did not
cry. Indradeva was already there. Before he

Chemistry Lab : A Dark Night On Campus
It was a dark night on campus. I was waiting for hours or though it seemed. It is not everyday that your roommates set you up with the best athlete on
campus. It shocked me that my roommate could convince him that I was worth the best quarterback in the country's time.
We were chemistry lab partners our freshmen year; not that he remembered the girl that helped him pass that class. He tried, but chemistry is not his
strong suit. We studied for hours before big tests together, but that was before he was Mr. Football, the guy everyone wanted to be and the boyfriend
every girl wanted. I on the other hand was nothing more than a poor college student working at Target and Kohl's to help pay tuition. We had a few

This worn me out more than anything. I couldn't go to bed until all my tutoring services were done, which could be past four am some nights. To say
the least, he has already seen me early in the morning with my glasses, hair in a bun, and p.j.s on. Not that he remembers any of these long nights in
between all of the big games and parties. He isn't a party boy but he is on the football team so that meant that he had to show up at least.
It was already seven and he said he would show up at 6:45. Was I making a mistake? Was this just a cruel prank? I was starting to think I was a fool to
think that a guy like that, Mr. Popular would give me out of all people the time of day. Then I saw a figure walking my way, tall and broad in the
shoulders, and I knew it was him. "Hey, you ready?" he asked.
I thought, I have been waiting for fifteen minutes, of course I am ready. I thought you were not going to show up. Instead, I responded politely. "Yes,
what do you have planned?"
"You will have to wait and see. It's a surprise!"
He took me to an Usher concert. I was shocked, and flattered all at the same time that he put in the effort to get tickets to a concert this big. We were
in the tenth row, and after we went to the ice cream shop on campus. We talked for hours, and I was surprised to hear that he remembered all our late
study nights and labs every Tuesday afternoon. I learned

Essay about Golden Age Go
Go is a fascinating game that, although created in China, gained popularity and permanence in Japan. Go planted its roots in the Heian Period and
grew from there. The Heian Period, known as the Golden Age of Japan, was a very stable time with the imperial court at the height of its reign,
especially in its early and middle years. Go provided a leisurely pastime and an opportunity for casual conversation that was not only entertaining in a
stimulating way, but at the same time maintained the cultivated decorum of the ruling elite of the time which were among its most common players:
courtiers. Since Go's beginnings in the Heian court, the construct of decorum, the diet, and the dress of the court served to facilitate its acceptance and...

Oh the other hand, it is still possible that Kibi sparked the popularity of Go in the court. However, there are many aspects of Heian life that would
have facilitated the acceptance of Go. Two unexpected factors of the popularity of Go in the Heian court were the diet and the dress of the
courtiers. The diet of the court was poor, causing medical problems that stemmed from malnourishment; and it has been speculated that the diet of
the courtiers "may have been at least partially responsible for the passivity and pessimism that bulk so large in Heian history and literature" (Shively
and McCullough 398). Because of this pessimism and lethargy that so plagued the court, it makes sense that a game like Go, that requires no
physical activity, became popular. The dress of courtiers would have highly restricted movement, making pastimes that required activity very difficult
and therefore impractical. The members of the court wore ensembles that included "in addition to [a] short outer jacket and long train prescribed for
women on formal occasions, as many as twenty or more identically cut robes..." (Shively and McCullough 395). Such an idea of extravagant dress is
echoed in many the works of prose that came out in the era. One example of a scene in which dress is commented on comes from The Pillow Book by
Sei ShЕЌnagon that states "...one could see the varied colours of their many–layered

Getting to meet and spend time with a famous person is one of my goals and dreams. In order for it to be my dream and goal, it has to be time

The Italian People, Culture and Cities in Movies,...
(1) How do the films discussed link the concepts of ‚crime' and ‚travelling'? What makes travelling such an interesting phenomenon within the
crime genre? Please also refer to the narrative structure of crime films. Travelling has used to be an activity that entirely differs from our everyday
life, an escape in order to find authenticity. Travelling forces people from their comfort zones and lead to new emotions, new actions, new
perceptions, acquired through the prism of another reality. For a long time it has been a privilege available only for a group of eligible. Not
surprisingly, the idea of interconnectivity between "crime" and "travelling" is highly exploited in the movie industry exposing the gap between
expectations and reality, between dream world and real world. Both the notion of crime and travelling are built around the idea of observing spaces
and places, people and their actions with the possibility of expectations being destroyed at any moment. Often tourists try to plan their trips with the
smallest details to avoid any unpredictable situation, especially nowadays in the time of the easy accessible images and reviews about destinations.
They are very persistent in their attempts to establish an order on a world. Crime stories are also concerned with this idea. The most thrilling effect in
movies can be achieved by putting crime and travelling into one story. When touristic stereotypes are destroyed, anticipated actions are not performed,

Characteristics Of An Ideal City
What factors do you expect from a city? Easy public transport? easy to access food? Decent entertainment and community centres? A large city would
be an easy place to find all these.
One of the key factors about the city is to find a job for survival. Finding a job is easier since more jobs are probably available. When you get a job and
if you dislike it or get fired, you will have more choices. Another important factor is access in the city with ease, such as easy availability of trams/trains
/taxi because sometimes you forget something at the grocery store or you are invited somewhere last minute. This is convenient for anyone lacking a
vehicle. The city should have good quality control. Anything factory–made or cooked in the city would be handled by professionals. In an ideal city,
you should not travel long distances for common items such as clothes, last minute groceries, the bank or any other company services. There should be
banks, insurances or other customer services companies in the town ready to assist you. Also in the unlikely event of an emergency, pharmacies,
hospitals and medicine should be easily accessible.
Traveling should happen without any problems, so you will be able to catch a last–minute flight. Also, the city should have more advanced
development: buildings, population and economy. These factors are very important for a region to become a suitable & comfortable place to live.
More buildings such as schools and hospitals will help in growing

The Is The Dead Man 's Float For One Full Minutes
named the Cracked Platter, or they went skinny dipping with the counselors.
The camp would not let the staff swim if they could not pass a swim test. Penny, one of the counselors, ran the tests. "Japes one last test you must
do is called the dead man 's float for one full minute. Can you do that?" asked Penny. "Sure" replied Japes I 'm a good swimmer. He lay flat in the
water and extended his feet and arms parallel to the bottom of the lake: unable to maintain his form and he repeatedly failed. After a time, he stuck his
head up to witness the whole gang laughing. "Come on Japes you can do it it we all did." "What is so funny" Japes demanded. "Let your arms and legs
hang down, "Mr. Know it all," that is the dead man 's float. You can cook... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
"You mean the ball will fly or roll upthe road without going off and hitting a tree?" Asked Tommy the cook. "Yes." replied Simon. "I will bet Japes a
day off for everyone that I can hit it further up the road than he can before it goes into the woods." "Come on Japes what do you think." The road
was three or four hundred yards long, it was not straight, surrounded by trees, and it would require hitting a low shot down a virtual tunnel. Simon
thought he would put the entire gang in their place. He would beat them down to prove he was in charge "Okay" said Japes. "You go first." Simon
hit a low bullet right off the porch. It nicked a tree on the left, but traveled to the bend in the road some one hundred and ninety yards before falling
off. "Beat that " said Simon, "Do not let everybody down." Simon did not know that he grew up near the camp, and that he had played golf since
he was ten. Simon would have actually needed to talk with the staff to find out about their lives. Japes dropped a ball on the porch and in one
smooth motion ripped a low fade around the bend in the road. The ball never left the drive and everybody took Sunday off. "You never told me you
played golf," stated Simon. "You never asked." replied Japes.
Summer was coming to an end and so was the camp. Although Japes had fun, he knew this world and the Grub land world were not his cup of tea.
The hotel world was in his blood, and he always

The Shack Reflection
Life can be a complicated and messy world, but knowing that we have someone in our presence(God), allows us to fit into this world and know that
we are loved. The movie Shack focuses on the beauty of our relationship with God and in our growth with him. When we lose someone, who is close
to us, it is hard to lose our relationship with God. We simply want to punish him for taking away our loved one and lose our devotion to him. Losing
sight and track of who you are is a common sign of going into complete darkness in your relationship with God. This movie is a beautiful
representation of improving your relationship with the one who truly matters in your life. I believe you should watch The Shack because it will show
you the struggles the main character, Mack, faces in his relationship with God and how to turn it all around.
The Shack is about a man, Mack Phillips, who comes face to face with the unknown. He suffers a tragedy, nothing he thought would ever happen to
him. His past relationship as a child was abusive, not the usual loving and caring and dreamy family style. He grows out of his past relationship and
marries into a loving and Christian family. He and his two daughters and son go on a camping trip where they will have to face the "big ugly past." At
this camping trip, Mack's five–year–old daughter is kidnapped and killed by an unknown man. After this event, Mack's relationship with God goes
down the burner; but one day his life changes for the better. He is sent

Personal Narrative Essay : The Best Friend In High School
Standing atop the ledge of the Golden Gate Bridge is so intimidating. I've stood in this spot countless times, however, I've always wussed out of
actually doing the unthinkable. With no one to help this uninteresting high schooler out, this girl doesn't even have a single friend in this new place.
Because all of my technology has been broken in someway, I've not had a chance to talk to my old friends, but it's not like I had numerous friends in
my old place. Nevertheless, the one friend I thought I had was Corrine, but she moved on and found other friends after I moved away. So much for best
friends forever.
Come to think of it, my family isn't the most supportive, since they pick favorites. Ever since the twins were born, I haven't experienced any sort of
tender love or care, and any attention they have left over, it all goes to my older brother. Praise the great honors student who takes all AP classes and
volunteers every chance he acquires. He's the next potential valedictorian of the school.
And me? Conversely, you're looking at the biggest failure this family has ever seen. I haven't made an attempt to be a productive, social member of
this school. I'm just here; I'm part of the crowd; I'm completely average. Consequently, I stand out just enough to be seen by some bullies that need
to hurt others to feel better about themselves. Moreover, they enjoy and love seeing my reactions, but after a year of them, I've started to become
indifferent to my own suffering, therefore, the pain no longer hurts; I'm numb to it now. How I got to this point is a long story that involves my
panties and bra being hung on the flag post of the new school I went to, and various glares and judgmental looks from other girls in the locker rooms.
Basically I was bullied, if you're wondering; it's not a tale that needs much explaining.
I realized that the Golden Gate Bridge was closed to pedestrians at night, so I borrowed my brother's old bike and went on my way. I'm glad that they
haven't finished building that suicide prevention fence or whatever. It doesn't fit the aesthetic of this place anyways, and further continues the plot.
Enough about my backstory, it's not like it will matter at all in a few seconds. I am here, and in

Plan For Creating A Treatment Plan

  • 1. Plan For Creating A Treatment Plan Transaction #4 Client: Yeah, I'm getting too old for this. I just want to get a little apartment or a room and a job to keep me going. I need my own place where I can just be alone with no one to bother me. Worker: I hear you. But, what's the most important thing right now? What's your plan? Skill: Maintaining a focus on the goals. Reading the client: Is this guy going to help me get a room for me to rent? I keep insisting that that's what a need hoping that he'll offer me some help with that. Reading myself: I'm feeling more confident that we can get on with the task of creating this treatment plan. I need to keep asking John specific questions about his plan of action or simply guide him in the process of coming up with ideas for setting goals and reaching for them. Evaluation: Staying on track with creating a treatment plan cannot be a rigid task. I need to stay open to being flexible and realize that if John is not ready to come up with specific plans for his post–detox work on recovery then perhaps this is not the time to do that. Another try: I reflect on my questions and say something like: John, what do you suppose would be the consequences of your continued substance abuse? How willing are you to make changes to move in another direction? New skill: Reframing Transaction #5 Client: I need to get through this detox and then, on Monday, I'm supposed to go to residential treatment. They wouldn't allow me in until I detoxed. But hey, once I get ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. Nazca Research Paper Nazca Traveling somewhere new and gaining new experiences is exceedingly beneficial. Challenging yourself, expanding your perspective, and learning about new cultures are just some of the benefits. If I could travel anywhere in the world where would I go? Somewhere like the beach or the mountains? The one place I would choose to visit is the town of Nazca. This town is specifically known for The Nazca Lines. The Nazca lines are large geoglyphs created by removing large amounts of rock and dirt, located in the Peruvian Desert within southern Peru. These lines are believed to be created by the Nazca tribe somewhere between 500 BC and 500 AD. the lines were discovered by Peruvian archaeologist Toribio Mejia Xesspe in 1927. The nazca lines depict creatures such as fish, birds, and other animals. They are said to be made up over 800 straight lines, 300 geometric designs. Most of the lines are between 10 to 30 cm deep.... However the biggest mystery is how the Nazca people were able to create such precise geoglyphs without an aerial view. The largest figure stretches about 200 meters long. There are some scholars who believe that the Nazca Lines is one of the earliest examples of applied geometry. Tens of thousands of visitors vacation there every year. Other than the preeminent architectural sites another entrancing point is the Nazca Channels. The ancient Nazca people created an underground aqueduct system irrigates the drylands. However, undeterred by this harsh climate the Nazcas, aided by the aqueducts were able to grow cotton fields, corn, beans, potatoes, and numerous fruits. Yeah, she did and she enrolled at the same class as you and Luhan. "That doesn't mean you can push her like that! She didn't even step on your foot on purpose!" Luhan growled at her and students were beginning to crowd at the scene. You were standing behind Luhan while holding his arm. "Luhan, stop. She's a girl and you're causing too much scene now," you whispered at him and he looked at you with the same look on his eyes while looking at Minhee. You flinched at his glare and he softened when he saw how scared you were. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to look at you like that." He put an arm around your shoulder and walked away from the scene. • 17. Death Be Not Proud By John Donne In the poem "Death be not proud," by John Donne the poet personifies death as a person not worthy of the respect and feat that he receives. From the words used in the poem, the reader gets the idea that it was written a long time ago, that being said it does not take away from the meaning nor is it hard to understand what they mean since the poet uses them in the literal meaning. The poem constructed in a way that is looks and sounds as the though the speaker is talking to Death in person. It sounds as though the speaker pities death, and the role that he plays in life. The speaker almost goes as far as to taunt death saying, "Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me." (4) He obviously does not fear death, nor does he think others ... To show this, I decided to make the poster about the College of Design at Iowa State University. The audience of this poster is the students because they are the people that would be applying to be a design student. To catch the attention of students, I thought a poster would work better so when they walk by throughout a busy day they will notice it. I also wanted the poster to be landscape or more horizontal because the sculpture is the largest item on the poster and would make it more convenient. This poster's purpose is to encourage students to apply to the College of Design. I chose the title, "Do You Have Qualities of a Design Student?" because I wanted to connect to the students on campus. I also put this at the top of the page so students see this first. This would make them continue to read the poster until they hit the bottom of the page which states, "Apply to the College of Design Today!". This makes them leave the poster with a clear purpose which is to apply to the design program. I also wanted to include the academic departments of the College of Design. I included that on the left side of the page so it isn't distracting, but still available for students to read. This informs students what programs the College of Design provides. • 27. The Difference Between Star Trek And Star Wars In the long–running debate over the Star–Trek–or–Star–Wars conflict, both sides have presented rational, strong arguments on why one show is better than the other. Star Trek argues for the storyline, while Star Wars is known typically for its visuals. However, what distinguishes the two genres from one another is the complexity and overall meaning behind the films. What really defines and separates Star Trek from Star Wars is its pro–technology stance, the diverse lead of characters, and the primary focus on the future of humanity Many of Star Trek's onscreen technologies inspired real–world innovations: Captain Kirk's communicator become the modernized cell phone; Siri, Amazon echo, and Google attempt to replicate the functions of the Enterprise's on board computer. The main weapon of Star Wars, the lightsaber, was not invented with its future capability in mind, but rather as an analogous to Japanese samurai swords. Star Wars is rather anti–technology and treats technology more as a prop. The impact of any technological progress on society is never completely explored and the Star Wars' galaxy is actually quite archaic. On the other hand, Star Trek trusts in the notion that technology will profoundly change society, and artificial intelligence will improve the quality of lives (The Business Insider). While advancing the technological world, Star Trek broke the barriers of diversity by showcasing multiple ethnicities among the main cast. In the 1960's, the original cast ... • 29. Descriptive Essay On Beauty I had to decorate my head with flowers and was looking exquisite. My father had prohibited me from using scented perfumes. I also did not have slightest of interest in that. I have been brought up in nature. Where does beauty live? Is it in jewelry or clothes, in the body, in soul or in the eye of the beholder? I was wondering. Four chariots named Rug, Yarju, Sam and Atharva were constructed. The great father Brahma sat on Rug. Twayi and Anwikshika were sitting in Yarju. Varta and Niti were in Atharva. Yarju was decorated with beautiful flowers. A drape of flowers covered the front of the chariot. The fourth chariot Atharva was appearing like a bouquet of red flowers. I sat in the chariot Sam, which was decorated with vines and fragrant flowers. In front of me, a garland of white jasmine was hanging. I was bathing with the fragrance of the flowers. My whole body, my mind, and my soul were all filled with fragrance. No one could see me from outside the chariot. But, I could see through the vines and thorns. I did not know the logic behind bringing me to heaven like a prisoner. I was sitting with suppressed curiosity, but was enjoying the scenery of the Indraloka. Even though heaven's beauty amazed me, my mind was thinking about my motherland, the earth. My playground, the elegant forest on the foothills of the Himalayas was no way less beautiful. I could never accept that my unique mother land is less prosperous than the kingdom of Indraloka. After attending godhood, it was natural to become a lover of luxury. Hence, the kingdom of gods was so much a show–off. If my motherland was a selfless hermit, the heaven was a hedonist beauty. If the Indraloka was so attractive, then how attractive Indra would be? After the discussion, I was supposed to come out of the chariot as if for a display. That time I could see without any hindrance and Indradeva could also see me. I remembered my first encounter with Indra. He was visiting my father in the ashram. His chariot was in the garden and I sat in it pretending to navigate it. As soon as I saw him returning to the chariot, I got scared. I slipped and fell while descending from the chariot and twisted my feet. I did not cry. Indradeva was already there. Before he ... • 31. Essay about Golden Age Go Go is a fascinating game that, although created in China, gained popularity and permanence in Japan. Go planted its roots in the Heian Period and grew from there. The Heian Period, known as the Golden Age of Japan, was a very stable time with the imperial court at the height of its reign, especially in its early and middle years. Go provided a leisurely pastime and an opportunity for casual conversation that was not only entertaining in a stimulating way, but at the same time maintained the cultivated decorum of the ruling elite of the time which were among its most common players: courtiers. Oh the other hand, it is still possible that Kibi sparked the popularity of Go in the court. However, there are many aspects of Heian life that would have facilitated the acceptance of Go. Two unexpected factors of the popularity of Go in the Heian court were the diet and the dress of the courtiers. The diet of the court was poor, causing medical problems that stemmed from malnourishment; and it has been speculated that the diet of the courtiers "may have been at least partially responsible for the passivity and pessimism that bulk so large in Heian history and literature" (Shively and McCullough 398). Because of this pessimism and lethargy that so plagued the court, it makes sense that a game like Go, that requires no physical activity, became popular. The dress of courtiers would have highly restricted movement, making pastimes that required activity very difficult and therefore impractical. The members of the court wore ensembles that included "in addition to [a] short outer jacket and long train prescribed for women on formal occasions, as many as twenty or more identically cut robes..." (Shively and McCullough 395). Such an idea of extravagant dress is echoed in many the works of prose that came out in the era. One example of a scene in which dress is commented on comes from The Pillow Book by Sei ShЕЌnagon that states "...one could see the varied colours of their many–layered ... What makes travelling such an interesting phenomenon within the crime genre? Please also refer to the narrative structure of crime films. Travelling has used to be an activity that entirely differs from our everyday life, an escape in order to find authenticity. Travelling forces people from their comfort zones and lead to new emotions, new actions, new perceptions, acquired through the prism of another reality. For a long time it has been a privilege available only for a group of eligible. Not surprisingly, the idea of interconnectivity between "crime" and "travelling" is highly exploited in the movie industry exposing the gap between expectations and reality, between dream world and real world. Both the notion of crime and travelling are built around the idea of observing spaces and places, people and their actions with the possibility of expectations being destroyed at any moment. Often tourists try to plan their trips with the smallest details to avoid any unpredictable situation, especially nowadays in the time of the easy accessible images and reviews about destinations. They are very persistent in their attempts to establish an order on a world. Crime stories are also concerned with this idea. This is convenient for anyone lacking a vehicle. The city should have good quality control. Anything factory–made or cooked in the city would be handled by professionals. In an ideal city, you should not travel long distances for common items such as clothes, last minute groceries, the bank or any other company services. There should be banks, insurances or other customer services companies in the town ready to assist you. Also in the unlikely event of an emergency, pharmacies, hospitals and medicine should be easily accessible. Traveling should happen without any problems, so you will be able to catch a last–minute flight. Also, the city should have more advanced development: buildings, population and economy. It nicked a tree on the left, but traveled to the bend in the road some one hundred and ninety yards before falling off. "Beat that " said Simon, "Do not let everybody down." Simon did not know that he grew up near the camp, and that he had played golf since he was ten. Simon would have actually needed to talk with the staff to find out about their lives. Japes dropped a ball on the porch and in one smooth motion ripped a low fade around the bend in the road. The ball never left the drive and everybody took Sunday off. "You never told me you played golf," stated Simon. "You never asked." replied Japes. Summer was coming to an end and so was the camp. Although Japes had fun, he knew this world and the Grub land world were not his cup of tea. The hotel world was in his blood, and he always ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 42. The Shack Reflection Life can be a complicated and messy world, but knowing that we have someone in our presence(God), allows us to fit into this world and know that we are loved. The movie Shack focuses on the beauty of our relationship with God and in our growth with him. When we lose someone, who is close to us, it is hard to lose our relationship with God. We simply want to punish him for taking away our loved one and lose our devotion to him. Losing sight and track of who you are is a common sign of going into complete darkness in your relationship with God. This movie is a beautiful representation of improving your relationship with the one who truly matters in your life. I believe you should watch The Shack because it will show you the struggles the main character, Mack, faces in his relationship with God and how to turn it all around. The Shack is about a man, Mack Phillips, who comes face to face with the unknown. He suffers a tragedy, nothing he thought would ever happen to him. His past relationship as a child was abusive, not the usual loving and caring and dreamy family style. He grows out of his past relationship and marries into a loving and Christian family. He and his two daughters and son go on a camping trip where they will have to face the "big ugly past." At this camping trip, Mack's five–year–old daughter is kidnapped and killed by an unknown man. After this event, Mack's relationship with God goes down the burner; but one day his life changes for the better. He is sent ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 43. Personal Narrative Essay : The Best Friend In High School Standing atop the ledge of the Golden Gate Bridge is so intimidating. I've stood in this spot countless times, however, I've always wussed out of actually doing the unthinkable. With no one to help this uninteresting high schooler out, this girl doesn't even have a single friend in this new place. Because all of my technology has been broken in someway, I've not had a chance to talk to my old friends, but it's not like I had numerous friends in my old place. Nevertheless, the one friend I thought I had was Corrine, but she moved on and found other friends after I moved away. So much for best friends forever. Come to think of it, my family isn't the most supportive, since they pick favorites. Ever since the twins were born, I haven't experienced any sort of tender love or care, and any attention they have left over, it all goes to my older brother. Praise the great honors student who takes all AP classes and volunteers every chance he acquires. He's the next potential valedictorian of the school. And me? Conversely, you're looking at the biggest failure this family has ever seen. I haven't made an attempt to be a productive, social member of this school. I'm just here; I'm part of the crowd; I'm completely average. Consequently, I stand out just enough to be seen by some bullies that need to hurt others to feel better about themselves. Moreover, they enjoy and love seeing my reactions, but after a year of them, I've started to become indifferent to my own suffering, therefore, the pain no longer hurts; I'm numb to it now. How I got to this point is a long story that involves my panties and bra being hung on the flag post of the new school I went to, and various glares and judgmental looks from other girls in the locker rooms. Basically I was bullied, if you're wondering; it's not a tale that needs much explaining. I realized that the Golden Gate Bridge was closed to pedestrians at night, so I borrowed my brother's old bike and went on my way. I'm glad that they haven't finished building that suicide prevention fence or whatever. It doesn't fit the aesthetic of this place anyways, and further continues the plot. Enough about my backstory, it's not like it will matter at all in a few seconds. I am here, and in ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
