BLACK SCREEN
INT. TEENS ROOM – MORNING
FROM BLACK SCREEN STRAIGHT INTO ALARM
An alarm clock is going off, a hand then appears above it and
turns it off by hitting down on it.
We see a young adult sit up in bed, he has obviously just
woken up. He reaches out and grabs his headphones, and puts on
the song.
The teen gets up to get dressed
INT. KITCHEN
Cut to later he is sat down eating breakfast
EXT. STREET
Cut to him walking to work
INT. OFFICE
Small clip of him sat at a computer typing away
Throughout all of these clips, we can see the teen is
disgruntled, bored.
These clips are repeated a few times showing the mundane
reality of his life.
EXT. STREET
We cut to the teen walking to work one day.
His usual walk is blocked off by cones, so he must take a
detour down an alleyway.
EXT. ALLEY
Down the alley, there is a door, inviting him in.
He takes off his headphones, checks his watch, deciding
whether to go in or not.

He decides to go in
As he walks in the door, we hear music picking up as he walks
in.
INT. CLUB
He comes out at performance, playing the same song he listens
to daily with the band on stage, he is overjoyed.
He stays dancing for a while, then realises he must leave so
runs out.
He comes out of the club.
EXT. ALLEY
He checks his watch and realises it is the same time as it was
before, he walks away to work happy
