2. Faisa
Mohamoud
Faisa may be acting as our protagonist
since she has been keen to participate
in the acting since we began filming.
But when we first began filming we
decided it would be better not to use her
since she is a group member so it
would have been important for her to
take part in the filming process.
However since then we have had many
problems with organizing actors that are
reliable and who are able to act in a
way that signifies the genre. Therefore,
Faisa is a good solution because she is
generally a comedic person which
makes her suitable to act in a teen
comedy film as well as the fact that she
is a group member which means she
will be always be present during filming.
Additionally, since our teen comedy is
based in London, Camden we will be
portraying someone that is from an
ethnic minority as it is a multicultural
area.
3. Aminatta
Sylva
We are planning to use Aminatta as
the “smart” character as we are
aware that she is a good actor
since she has acted in several
other openings and preliminary
tasks including our previous
opening sequence. Therefore we
feel that she would be a suitable
person for the role, as well as the
fact that we know her well enough
to identify that she would be willing
to give up her time in order to help
us film which was crucial since we
encountered problems when we
first started filming regarding this.
4. Jordan
Peterson
We’ve decided to ask Jordan to act
as the teenage boy who is obsessed
with gaming. He would be suitable for
the role since he generally likes to
game, and possesses the props that
would make his character
representation look genuine such as
a PSP and a cape that will make him
look like a gamer. In addition he has
taken part in several school
productions and can act extremely
well.
5. Ciaren
Crawley
We’ve chosen Ciaren to act as the
“socially awkward” character who is
witty and weird. We decided this
based on the clips we have watched of
him acting in his own opening
sequence which is more or less in the
same way. We identified that he has
the ability to easily get into character
and improvise when necessary which
is something that not all actors can do.
