An analysis of the actors I could involve in the film

2. Adam Curtis
 My first actor isAdam who is my brother. I have chosen to use him in my
film beginning because other classmates that I would have liked to
involve will not be available.This can be a benefit however as he can add
personal input into making and editing the film beginning potentially
even better. He is going to play as one of the “gang members” in my
film.As he is 18 as well, he is about the right age for the audience to fully
connect with him as this character. It is around this age bracket where
the common action film is targeted, so he is a good choice in my
opinion.
 He is also agile and tall, so he is an ideal character to be played as either
potentially as he has the correct stance and posture to play as an
Antagonist, but also has the correct emotions and motivations to be
played as the Protagonist if necessary.
 However, the drawback to using him is that he doesn’t have any acting
experience as some other actors that I could have chosen. However
there are many action films that have incorporated the used of amateur
actors and have potentially gone on to do more world class films.

3. Simon Robson
 I have chosen to do one of my friends to play one of the
Antagonists in my film beginning.This is because he is in contrast
to Adam, where he can be aggressive and has those kind of
attributes to him, which he has helped to acquire by doing
various self defence training sessions. Furthermore,
incorporating both him and Adam will help create a balance in
personalities of the “Gang members”, one being more motivated
and less aggressive and need for violence, whereas Simon
doesn’t necessarily have the correct motivations and mental
skills for being a villainous character, but certainly has the
fighting skills and spirit, which is a good trait that Adam doesn’t
have, and therefore makes them both a good partnership to be
the Antagonists.
 However, the drawback to using him is that he doesn’t have any
acting experience as some other actors that I could have chosen
and can be a bit camera shy.Therefore, my film could potentially
not have very good dialogue, as he wont be as committed and
mentally prepared as other classmates that I could have chosen.
