1. Opening titles: it starts of on dead lady's hand holding a gun smoking at the very end
and the credits will roll on it with the end of the gun smoking, with a saxophone,
slow jazz like music going on in the background. the camera shot will start off with an
extreme close-up of a dead lady's hand holding a smoking gun.
After the opening title: the camera will start toslowly zoom out of the smoking gun
and start toshow the dead lady's whole body planted onto a desk with a small
amount of blood dripping from the table which has come streaming down from her
hand in the shot with the credits rolling. The lady will be wearing a red dress and red
lip stick with a large fur coat on over her shoulders. And as the camera is zooming
out, the dead lady's face will be brightly lit showing the high contrasts of light and
dark to have half her face really bright and the other half a lot darker. The light will
be coming out if a window with blinds folded down showing a shadow on the dead
body and on the floor.
Mid-way through the opening scene: the camera will stop zooming out of the lady
and start toturn into a low angle of the secret murderer who's hidden from the
special lighting from the blind behind him so we can’t see his face while he's wearing
Theodora hat, a black and white suit underneath a large trench/ detective coat. This
is so we cannot see too much of his body and face description to keep his identity
hidden throughout the rest of the film to keep the audience on suspense. The secret
man will be writing some kind of unknown letter and will be speaking a monologue
while the camera is moving from the dead lady to the dark man. As the camera has
finished zooming out of the dead lady, that shot will have the background
End of opening scene: the camera will stay on the hidden man until he has finished
writing and will end on a dramatic saying from the man that will keep the audience
in suspense. There will be stereotypical gambling men props on the desk where the
secret man will be writing, for example, alcohol, cards, a hat on his head to keep his
face hidden and an ash tray.
