1. Foundation Report of the Hostel Construction
Genesis
The hostel construction in Ritey Primary School is purely sponsored by the Stanley International
College through the noble initiatives of M/S Build Youth Bhutan, Thimphu. It is purely a
Corporate Social Responsibility Project. The project is such a noble initiative that it would
benefit not only the present students but many students to come. Further, the project has indeed
brought from light to the community as well.
Brief Report
On 7th
April first Budget of one hundred ninety thousand and two hundred (nu 1, 90,200.00) was
released as advanced to purchase necessary particulars like:
1) CGI sheets
2) Cement
3) Nails
4) Nets for windows
5) Paints
6) To Bear transportation cost
7) And to buy other necessities
On 9 and 10 April construction members transported planks and bitumen to the construction
site. On 14/04/14 they started to transport cement and CGI sheets from road head to
destination through human and pony transportation. Since the school does not have an
access of motor road, all goods are being transported through people and ponies.

2. Ground leveling task commenced from 16/04/2014 by the construction members who had
come up to do the task. The task had been done manually as the reach of machine at this place is
beyond the dream. It is really hard to toil such ground, full of stones. However, the members did
their best to make best level manually.

3. The most of the important materials are now in place. The construction is smooth. The school
Administration is involved in monitoring the process. We are driven by the noble gestures from
the abroad. We shall leave no stone unturned. Come June 2014, the school would have new
development: Our Pride- The Hostel for our nomad children. Thanks to Yum Sonam Choki.
Thanks to Stanley College. And thanks to Build Youth Bhutan.
This noble initiative will bring lasting impact to the lives of nomad children. The project per se is
noble indeed!
