2. Major Distributor Frontline Frontline is a major distributor of mainstream magazines, it started in 1986. They have 160 magazines and 54 of them are top-selling. The publisher for the company used to be E-map when it first started but is now Bauer which is one of the biggest ones out there which publishes a lot of very popular magazines. Frontline work with a multi-platform strategy, not only can they advertise and distribute in the mainstream shops they sell in (WHSmiths, Tesco, etc) but also on Websites, Radio stations and TV.
3. Independent DistributorViceland An independent distributor, such as, Viceland, has a different strategy of distributing, which is focusing on single outlets that will involve the unique theme within it. E.g. a one-off record shop might sell a magazine that involves the theme of there best selling music. This way they can pin point where they will make the most sales. My audience will be people who listen to my chosen music theme and shop in the chosen outlets, such as, independent record shops etc.
