3. I used Serif Movie Plus to edit and put the titles on my opening sequence. I
used it to cut shots if they needed cutting or if they needed it to look more
professional in general if the next shot didn’t follow on completely from the
previous one, using Serif Movie Plus also allowed me to change how loud the
audio was and if I wanted any music or sound effects instead of the recorded
sound. Using this software effected my work in multiple positive ways
because if I did not use it then the opening sequence would not look
professional as the shots would have a problem with continuity and the shots
would not make sense with the ones after the previous shot. With the
software allowing me to do this my opening sequence it made It looks more
professional than it would do if I didn’t edit it using the software. As the
software let me put titles on my opening sequence this made my opening
sequence look professional. The software also let me use effects such as
pan/zoom and crossfade, this was useful as it let me create tension between
shots when using the crossfade as it fades into darkness this benefited my
work as it created mystery and tension between scenes.

4. I used Adobe Photoshop to create the title for my opening sequence, I used
this because using Photoshop allowed me to create top quality professional
looking title screen. Because of the effects and designs such as the bevel
and shadow tools that I used and could have used in photoshop my title
looks very professional an very high quality because of the effects that I
could use in Photoshop which were, stroke, outer glow and drop shadow.
With Photoshop allowing me to create a high quality looking title it
improved my opening sequence because it made it look more professional
and more like a real films opening sequence. It also allowed me to create my
company’s name and logo.This helped improve my work because it made it
look more professional and more like a real company’s film.This is helpful
because it makes the whole product look more professional not just the
name and logo. I used Photoshop to create it because it lets me use a high-
quality software with a lot of tools such as, stroke, outer glow and drop
shadow.These are tools that can aid me in creating a high-quality logo and
company name.These tools helped me achieve a professional and high
quality production logo.

5. I used the websiteWeebly to upload my work onto
the internet, this includes my opening sequence
which is embedded via aYouTube link.This
website is useful because it lets me upload my
work to the internet for free and for anyone to see.
It also let me type work straight onto a page of my
blog on the website instead of uploading it as a
document this helped improve my work as it
allowed me to make my work look more
professional as it is typed straight onto the blog
and present my work creatively and professionally.

6. I also used to Google Forms to gather research
from my target audience analysis.This helped me
improve my work because if I had no research on
my target audience then I would not be able to
carry out an analysis on my target audience. As I
had research to carry out my analysis so this made
for a higher quality piece of work. I benefited from
this because it let me create a more professional
opening sequence because I then had the opinions
from my target audience to base the changes off
on.

7. I usedYouTube to put my opening sequence
onto the internet and then embed it onto my
Weebly as it looks more professional and easier
to view. It also allows me to embed it straight
onto Weebly.This is because it is used by my
target audience so it would be easier to view.

8. I used SlideShare to put PowerPoints such as
my actors, props, costumes and locations onto
the internet and then embed onto my Weebly
for a more professional look.

9. I used the camera to film my title and opening
sequence and take photos for my animatic.This
piece equipment allowed to produce a
professional title and opening sequence.The
camera also allowed me to transfer the clips from
the camera to the PC and then to the editing
software.This was useful as it allowed me to edit
the opening sequence. The tools on the camera
helped me create the professional piece of work.
These tools were allowed to pan and zoom and flip
the screen so that the actors could see if the shot
that they are in has good framing.
