15. Draw thumbnail sketch on paper first

Then start painting on canvas or a fresh piece of
paper
The painting doesn’t have to follow the sketch
What’s the procedure?
16. Paint from thin to thick, allow each layer to dry, block in the whole composition
17. 4 colors mixed to make a variety of colorful grays:
Black, white, (any) brown + (any) blue
Mixed together

Use black, white, brown and blue
to do a “limited palette” panting.
2. Then use full-color on top of the first layer.
