Help with media assessment. In April 2022, WarnerMedia (Owned by AT&T) and Discovery completed a merger to create a new US$28 Billion media company called Warner Bros. Discovery, ready and poised to take on the big streaming competitors, Netflix and Disney Plus. As a Media Consultant, you are to prepare a Business Analysis Report. The report must include a written report, supported by pictures, graphics and tables to support your analysis. Your report will strictly follow the following structure: Part 1 - Background Write up the profile of Warner Bros. Discovery, before and after the merger. Classify and discuss the following, highlighting any specific changes that will affect the new companys business: (a) History & background of the original companies (WarnerMedia & Discovery). (b) New company organisational and operational structure (Post Merger). (c) Summary of Key Business areas of the new company. (d) Analysis of its competition and how the new company intends to address them. (e) New business and/or operational opportunities as a result of the merger..
