INFORMATION OF CONTRIBUTOR 
 Nanubhai Nayik served as the principal of The Kadod 
High School from 1963 to 1984. 
 He was, by all accounts, authoritative, but nevertheless 
adored by his students and fellow staff members 
 Due to his outstanding leadership and revolutionary 
approach to education, during his tenure, over 500 
professionals emigrated from a small town of 10,000 in 
rural Gujarat to America and the UK.
CONTRIBUTER

 The principal of The

1963 to 1984. 
 The Nanubhai Education 
Foundation was founded 
in 2004 by Raj Shah, a 
first generation Indian- 
American.
EXPIRIANCE 
 21 years of experience 
principal in The Kadod 
High School Kadod. 
 Has a great experience of 
teaching work and 
responsibility.
ACCORDING TO HIM: 
 Goal: To improve quality of Education. 
 Mission: The Nanubhai Education Foundation works to 
have a positive impact on financially vulnerable rural 
students in a scalable and sustainable way. For the past 
decade we have worked closely with communities in 
Gujarat, India 
 Vision: They strive to uphold the highest professional 
standards of international development
QUALITY OF EDUCATION 
 During his tenure as Principal at The Kadod High 
School, Principal Nanubhai inspired his students and 
staff to work hard, to value education, and to serve as 
models in the community.
 As a result, the village is a success story – many former 
students pursued higher education, emigrated to more 
developed countries, and used their newfound prosperity 
to support families members who remained in India. The 
cycle continues to this day
TRANSPARENCY 
 They believe that transparency is an essential part of trust 
and the trust of both our communities and our donors is 
what allows us to continue the mission of Nanubhai. 
 By maintaining total transparency in all financial doings, 
we strive to build an even stronger trust with all of our 
stakeholders
CULTURAL SENSITIVITY 
 They are aware that we operate in a different, vibrant, 
and nuanced culture. It is important to us that our work is 
informed by and suited to the local context.
EDUCATION WORK BY THEM 
 The US-based Nanubhai Nayak Education Foundation 
(NNEF), which works to improve standards of English 
language and technical education among tribal students 
in south Gujarat, has invited 10 American teachers to 
teach English at three different schools in the region.
 The foundation had invited four Americans to teach 
students at Kadod High School, Bardoli. Two of the four 
teachers, who were of Indian origin, had returned to the 
US once their internship was over, but the others decided 
to stay back and continue their work here.
SHORT TERM AND LONG TERM VISION 
 Short term vision is improve English language of the 
student and also improved the quality of education. 
 Long term vision is they are focusing our efforts on the 
fact that a college education is an option for only 1 in 10 
students in India.
ADVISE FOR THE FUTURE ENGINEER 
 There is no any key for success expect do it for yours 
you cannot have success from other’s efforts so you have 
o do it yourself. 
 Keep your vision clear and work towards it’s fulfilment 
without fear of failure. You will have it.
LIFE EXPIRIEANCE 
 He joined the Hansraj Morarji Public School, Mumbai in 
1952 as a teacher. They so the education level is very 
higher than Gujarat and they decide this work in Gujarat 
and they found the Nanubhai Nayak trust in Gujarat and 
in U.S.A.According to them the revolution can be done 
by education.

INFORMATION OF CONTRIBUTOR  Nanubhai Nayik served as the principal of The Kadod High School from 1963 to 1984.  He was, by all accounts, authoritative, but nevertheless adored by his students and fellow staff members  Due to his outstanding leadership and revolutionary approach to education, during his tenure, over 500 professionals emigrated from a small town of 10,000 in rural Gujarat to America and the UK.
  • 3. CONTRIBUTER  Mr.Nanubhai Nayak  The principal of The Kadod High School from 1963 to 1984.  The Nanubhai Education Foundation was founded in 2004 by Raj Shah, a first generation Indian- American.
  • 4. EXPIRIANCE  21 years of experience principal in The Kadod High School Kadod.  Has a great experience of teaching work and responsibility.
  • 5. ACCORDING TO HIM:  Goal: To improve quality of Education.  Mission: The Nanubhai Education Foundation works to have a positive impact on financially vulnerable rural students in a scalable and sustainable way. For the past decade we have worked closely with communities in Gujarat, India  Vision: They strive to uphold the highest professional standards of international development
  • 6. QUALITY OF EDUCATION  During his tenure as Principal at The Kadod High School, Principal Nanubhai inspired his students and staff to work hard, to value education, and to serve as models in the community.
  • 7.  As a result, the village is a success story – many former students pursued higher education, emigrated to more developed countries, and used their newfound prosperity to support families members who remained in India. The cycle continues to this day
  • 8. TRANSPARENCY  They believe that transparency is an essential part of trust and the trust of both our communities and our donors is what allows us to continue the mission of Nanubhai.  By maintaining total transparency in all financial doings, we strive to build an even stronger trust with all of our stakeholders
  • 9. CULTURAL SENSITIVITY  They are aware that we operate in a different, vibrant, and nuanced culture. It is important to us that our work is informed by and suited to the local context.
  • 10. EDUCATION WORK BY THEM  The US-based Nanubhai Nayak Education Foundation (NNEF), which works to improve standards of English language and technical education among tribal students in south Gujarat, has invited 10 American teachers to teach English at three different schools in the region.
  • 11.  The foundation had invited four Americans to teach students at Kadod High School, Bardoli. Two of the four teachers, who were of Indian origin, had returned to the US once their internship was over, but the others decided to stay back and continue their work here.
  • 12. SHORT TERM AND LONG TERM VISION  Short term vision is improve English language of the student and also improved the quality of education.  Long term vision is they are focusing our efforts on the fact that a college education is an option for only 1 in 10 students in India.
  • 13. ADVISE FOR THE FUTURE ENGINEER  There is no any key for success expect do it for yours you cannot have success from other’s efforts so you have o do it yourself.  Keep your vision clear and work towards it’s fulfilment without fear of failure. You will have it.
  • 14. LIFE EXPIRIEANCE  He joined the Hansraj Morarji Public School, Mumbai in 1952 as a teacher. They so the education level is very higher than Gujarat and they decide this work in Gujarat and they found the Nanubhai Nayak trust in Gujarat and in U.S.A.According to them the revolution can be done by education.
