5 KINGDOMS
ALL LIVING THINGS ARE CLASSIFIED
-The monera kingdmon (bacteria)
-The protist kingdom (amoeba)
-The fungus kingdom (yeast –toadstool)
-The plants kingdom (algae –violets)
The animal kingdom (fox –grasshopper)

THE MONERA KINGDOM
- The monera kingdom are unicellular.
- They can be found on land, in the air, in
water and inside other living things.
- Bacteria belong to the monera kingdom.
- Some bacteria can cause illnesses, while
other bacteria are used to make food, such
as cheese and yoghurt.

THE PROTIST KINGDOM
-The protist kingdom are usually
unicellular, but some protist are
multicellular.
-Most protist are found in water.
-The amoeba is a unicellular protist.

THE FUNGUS KINGDOM
-The fungus kingdom can also be either
unicellular or multicellular.
- Yeast is an exemple of a unicellular
organism.
- Mushrooms are exemple of multicellular
organism.
- Fungi can’t make their own food.

THE PLANT KINGDOM
-All plants in the plant kingdom are
multicellular organisms.
-They make their own food by taking
energy from the sun.
-We can classify plants into two smaller
groups: flowering and non-flowering
plants.
11. THE ANIMAL KINGDOM
-All animals in the animal kingdom are
multicellular.
-They can’t make their food, so they get
the energy they need to survive by
feeding on other living things.
-We can classify animals into two
smaller groups: vertebrates and
invertebrates.
