Limoncello is an Italian lemon liqueur that is mainly produced in southern Italy, especially around the Gulf of Naples, the Sorrentine Peninsula, and the coast of Amalfi. While there is debate around its exact origin, limoncello is at least 100 years old and is also produced in Sicily, Sardinia, Menton in France, and the island of Gozo in Malta. Caffè macchiato is an espresso coffee drink with a small amount of milk added, translating to "espresso stained or marked with milk".
