This notice describes a Lead Person position at a sand plant responsible for supervising all aspects of plant operations. The position oversees safety, production, scheduling, regulatory compliance, ordering supplies, customer service, supervising employees, and other duties. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of relevant experience. The position requires availability for day or night shifts Monday through Saturday with varying hours and possible weekend or night work.

Job Summary:
The Lead person position is responsible for supervising all aspects of the Sand
Plant operation.
 Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations of OSHA/MSHA and Pioneer Materials
 Conduct daily safety assignments (area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA’s, TRACK, etc).
 Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using
the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
 Safe production of product
 Scheduling manpower
 Compliance with all regulatory agencies including MSHA, DER and OSHA
 Order parts and supplies within the operating budget
 Communicate with management
 Assist in developing the operating budget
 Service internal and external customer
 Supervise all employees in the quarry
 Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and
applicable law including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning,
assigning and directing work, appraise performance, rewarding and disciplining employees,
addressing complaints and resolving problems
 Other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
High school Diploma or equivalent
2 -4 Years of experience
Shift: Dayshift/Nightshift; Monday – Saturday, varying start/end times. Some weekends and
possible night work.
