HEALTH and SAFETY POLICY - WRITTEN STATEMENT
This is a group health and safety policy that supports all four business entities. The four business entities
are;-
1. Stone Supplies Wales Ltd
2. Jordan Civils Ltd
3. Concrete Supplies Ltd
4. Celtic Waste Management Services Ltd
It is the policy of the company to comply with all current site and country specific relevant health and safety
legislation as a minimum.
We recognize and accept the duty to protect the Health and Safety of all employees at work and others who
may be affected by our operations. To achieve these goals we aim to;-
Provide, manage and maintain a safe work environment.
Provide, manage and maintain safe plant and equipment.
Provide suitable facilities and welfare arrangements.
Consult with and involve staff on matters relating to health, safety matters.
Identify hazards and conduct formal risk assessments and safe systems of work in order to
minimize the risks of all activities.
Provide information, instruction, training and supervision to ensure staff are competent to
supervise or undertake their work activities and are aware of any related hazards and the
measures taken to control them.
Ensure that control measures and emergency procedures are in place, effective, properly used,
monitored and maintained.
Identify any adverse risks arising from its activities and eliminate or reduce their impact through
control and management.
Continually improve health & safety standards by setting targets and objectives and by monitoring
performance.
We are committed to giving health and safety compliance the highest priority in all of our activities
and expect all employees, visitors and contractors to comply with our policies and procedures.
The policy will be reviewed and revised at least every 12 months or immediately in the light of
major legislative or organisational changes.
