• The main dominant image is a larger scale to stand out
however cosmopolitan has a messy layout, this is were
the images and texts over lap and are all at different
scales. I don’t like this layout for a content page.
• The colour scheme is blue, white and black shown
through the font colours and background colour. This
links the page together.
• The content numbers and in a different colour an font
to contrast the black text and stand out. This makes
the magazine look more creative and follow the
conventions of a magazine.
• The sub images are of clothes and celebrities that link
to pages inside the magazine this is shown by the
matching numbers overlapping the images. The
numbers are white to be easily visible and appealing.
• The magazine uses pugs to advertise different offers
and clothing deals. This will appeal to the audience
that are interested in purchasing items and have a
fashion interest.

3. Vogue
• Vogue uses one main dominant image to draw
attention to only that photo. However its over
lapped my the vogue headers and content text.
This makes it look more unique and different.
• The font and content numbers are in italic script
making that magazine professional and to stick
to vogues classy style. The sub heads are in red
to stand out and contrast the black font
underneath, this also sticking to the red, black
and white colour scheme.
• The subscribe box in the bottom left corner is to
engage the reader and fans of the magazine to
get more buyers. Its placed in the corner as its
less important information.
• The text also varies in font sizes to give it a
quirky look and so different texts stand out.

4. Glamour
• The glamour content page is a very simple and
plain layout. It uses one main image to be the
focus of the page, this is why it’s a large scale
with a plain white background.
• The colour scheme is white, yellow and orange
making the page bright and colourful. The font
colours are red on the subheads to stand out from
the rest of the text in black. The content
numbers are also in red and are a different front
to make the text abit quirky and different.
• The header is large scale at the top center of the
page, it takes up a quarter of the page to stand
out being the main text.
• To help promote the brand it includes the site
address in small print under the header. This
interacting with the reader and helping the
brand.
