Presentation: (10 minutes)
I will bring the following pictures (Lion- zebra - hippo - giraffe - snake- kangaroo
tiger - monkey and elephant)
After that, I will put them in my red bag and I will show them the first animal for
example a“lion” then I will encourage them to repeat the word .
I will make the sound of the lion and children will repeat the sound and say the
animal according to the sound or maybe the mimic.
5. Transition: Ok well done!! Now I will give you something. Please, close your
eyes!
Activity 1: (5 minutes)
I will give them finger puppets, and I will share each student. I will explain when
they hear the animal that I will say he/she will stand up and make the sound or
mime the animal. I will show how to do it.
Transition: Great job!! Now we are going to play!! are you ready!
Activity 2: (5 minutes)
After that I will stick the animals on the wall and, I will say an animal and student
will run to the animal.I will ask them to say the animal.
I will explain and show how to do it.
Teacher; Are you ready!!!
Children: Yes!
Teacher: ok 1,2,3 it is an elephant!!! and I will say all the animals and children
will run to the animal, touch and say.
Transition: Well done kids! Now come here!! Listen to me (one, two , three) sit on
the floor and close your eyes please!
6. Activity 3: (3 minutes)
Now I will choose 3 animals and children will discover what animal it is. I will
show a bit of the picture and they will say what animal it is.
